While the staff highly encourages everyone to participate, only comment if you are capable of giving and taking potentially harsh concrit in a mature, level-headed manner. Assume good faith at all times. Crit is meant to be resolved, not "won". Give mutual respect for each other's work and ideas. Aggressiveness creates unproductive stress and conflict. If you are emotionally compromised, you are not fit to captain the Starship Enterprise need to step back, take a break, and then return when you're ready.

Anonymous commenting is DISABLED, but sock journals are ALLOWED. If you would like to use a sock journal, you will have to request access to the comm first. If you want to receive anonymous crit anyways, please take advantage of the Private HMD thread (see below).

We have provided a form to post with, if you would like to use it. Mentioning things like canon points, permanent losses and recent major events in their lives in Paradisa may help give people a better idea of the character's mindset and current actions.

Canon Point: In the middle of Wizards at War, right as she transits from the Motherboard world to Rashah.
Notes: She’s been here for 10 months and will soon be 14! Dairine has recently gone through a traumatic event and is working on learning ~new things~ because of it. But at the same time, I don’t want her to overdo it. She should act like a know-it-all, not literally know it all.
Specific Crit Requests: Anything and everything. Am I playing a realistic Dairine? Is she being too nice? Too rude? Not smart or snarky enough? Sometimes I worry that I'm getting Dari all wrong because her personality and mine are so different.

I've been somewhat busy with college and RL, and that has slowed my RP speed down. Which is sad because I've got so many ideas! However, I'm trying to find a good balance and should get to older tags soon!

The rest I feel is fairly standard. Elektra is quiet character so it's hard to get her to do many journal posts. Sometimes it's tough to even get her to reply to those for long. Steve will always have a little higher activity levels since he is easy to throw into things. I may take a little longer with him if there's something I have to research etc etc.

I took an unannounced hiatus at the end of August and the beginning of September from just major burnout, and also needing to take a step back and see how everything was for me, personally, involving the game and the characters I play. I'm sorry to hear that you've been having a bit of burnout, but I'm glad to hear that you plan to post soon.

I do have to mention the crit that I had brought to you before. While I understand that this was partly due to the issues you've mentioned, there has only been one open post between the two of your characters since the last HMD. I have not seen you personally discourage anyone from plotting with you; quite the opposite! However, with so many entries that consist of filters or closed logs, it can appear a little uninviting. This is just something to keep in mind.

Again, I am glad to hear you are feeling positive, and I hope to see more of both Cinna and Cross especially, for however long he will remain in the game.

I know that you are very passionate about Adachi and that you know him inside and out and that he's also your "signature" character. I respect that. But at the same time, I can't help to think that you do tend to put him through a lot of, well, "bad stuff".

The most recent case in point is, of course, the murder "plot". Now I'm not giving away to what degree I have CR with Adachi and the wellness of the castle, but I have to say that it was a disappointment to see that none of it went anywhere. At all.

I know that half of the issue is (was?) also on Stick's end, but I'm not sure what exactly was stopping you from having him calling out or confronting his killer? I'm only wondering because the first concern I had mixed with this one might have a bit of a strain on future threading with you, in a meaningful sense.

I guess what I am trying to say here is to maybe consider the outcomes of what "darker" things you do with Adachi and what impact your CR might have from it all. Sorry if I'm coming off as accusatory as I know the most recent concern is likely a sore spot.
