paradisamodsAs the application pages have all reached 30, 40 or even 50 pages, we've started new ones to make it easier on our internet connections and to reduce some clutter. All links to application posts have been updated, save Misc, who isn't cool enough for a new post.
All those still waiting for verdicts on still-pending apps or apps awaiting revisions: never fear! We have them all documented and will still be processing them. They do not need to be reposted.

Language Plot Information!

Well, have you ever wondered why everyone in the castle can understand each other, even though they should be speaking English, Japanese, Elvish, Binary, etc? Starting Sunday the 21st, you'll get the chance to wonder about it more, because whatever automatically translates speech and text in Paradisa is suddenly going to turn off.

I usually forget to put these things up and just disappear of the face of the earth for a little while, but I figured I would be polite and actually, Y'know, let people know.
I'm going to Worldcon in Reno, and I'll likely be leaving Tuesday and getting back sometime on Monday. I might have my computer and play a bit, but I'm promising nothing.
For Del, let's assume she wandered off after all of the tension in the castle to get back to her regularly scheduled crazy, instead of webs and clouds and things. Let me know if there's anything to be done with her before then :)

luckyvalentine.livejournal.comDeep apologies to all the wonderful folks still in threads with me, but I will be leaving tomorrow on a long-overdue vacation. I will be exploring the mountains and deserts of Utah for a week, so I won't be flying back until around the 22nd.
I will be working like a madwoman on the two key plot threads that I'm still in tonight, but other than that, tags are going to... have to wait...

sew-whiny.livejournal.comSo, as some of you may know, I'm moving to China this Thursday (the 18th) to teach English for a year. As you may have guessed, what with travel, orientation, and getting settled this means that I have no idea what my internet situation is going to be like for the next couple of weeks.
So, I'm calling a hiatus here, effective Wednesday evening (but I'll be slow before then) through September 2nd/3rd, when I should be situated in my new quarters in the Middle Kingdom. I may have internet at hostels, etc, before then, but I can't count on it - I'll tag where I can, but really, don't look for me!
