We have provided a form to post with, if you would like to use it. Mentioning things like canon points, permanent losses and recent major events in their lives in Paradisa may help give people a better idea of the character's mindset and current actions.

I don't know if I've told you this before but if I have I will gladly repeat myself just to reinforce it. But Nepeta's CR with Sollux was not originally expected and I absolutely adore it. I never thought it would grow like it has been. She's really starting to like him, and I'm so glad we're getting this chance to expand upon their friendship.

You're still amazing with him, and I love reading all of his entries and threads. Anyone who can master that much snark and moodiness always impresses me. Keep it up, because he's becoming one of my favorites. ♥

Well, Sollux is pretty sensitive about his lisp, so it would make sense to me that he would hide behind his text more often than not! Honestly, if you're worried about it, I'd just say when you're tagging a new character, post with the quirk or lisp and ask if it's okay! And if they'd prefer not, you could leave a comment in your permissions noting that they didn't want it. :)

I ):'d when you dictated towards a character and put [Dictated with a lisp]. One reason being you didn't specify what lisp Sollux had, but mostly because I rather enjoy reading Sollux's thpeech with all thosthe thilly thh's replathing s-thounds. I think it adds to the character and situation, and at the least, isn't very hard to decipher!

Oh, besides that. I LOVE your Sollux. I love his snark, his personality, and I ADORE his random bursts of shitfits. It shows off his bipolar disorder beautifully. I love his kismesissitude with Equius, although, I do worry that he may be in a little over his head sometimes... Which is perfectly IC, haha, but still worrying!!

So really, don't worry about the quirk and lithp and his general jerkiness, as I'm pretty sure most people are pretty chill with the former, and I've seen that in most cases, negative CR is quite desirable. What's a good, respectable, and well-mannered discussion without the occasional snarky, ill-tempered remark thrown in anyway?

...I think I'm seeing patterns in how this ended up organized. No really. Powerful to one side, neurotic and/or crazy to the other.


Couple of points:

• Sometimes I feel like Courage is talking intelligibly too much. Other times, not enough. :/ Is it balanced? If not, which side do I need to integrate more?


• GOD. (Bolded and underlined to get your attention) I am aware of how delicate religious subjects can be. As such, if at ANY point I make you feel uneasy with any of my tags, please, please, please, PLEASE let me know. I can't change if I don't know about it. I will not get angry, I will not be insulted and I will change whatever it is immediately. Likewise, if you DO NOT want me tagging your character for any reason whatsoever, LET ME KNOW. The very last thing I want is to make anyone feel uncomfortable in this game. ♥

notes: James needs to go do something. I feel like I am doing him a disservice with him just ... sitting around doing absolutely nothing. And Piper ... I'm trying to push her into doing more things rather than just saying no to everything. I think I'm getting there slowly with her wanting to go into the Danger Room with walkinthruwalls but I need to get her there.

I know I'm slack with tags at the moment. I kind of suffered a bit of a RP slump due to some irl issues that have gotten me down, but I am getting back to them tomorrow (since I have a long shift at work today, hence I won't be getting to them at all until I come home). I fear I'm not tagging around much and I'd like to spread out my CR/not always go to the built CR I already have and/or cast mates.

I also fear James is flat. So I'm brainstorming ways to give him some depth somehow - maybe bring out his arrogant bullying toerag side. Other than that, I feel my characters are really stale at the moment and I am trying to liven their castle lives up a little. I've got a few plans for Piper, but other than that, I am always open to suggestions.

So, just putting it out there, the fact that you have James at all is kind of one of the best things ever. I feel like you could make him slightly more of a jock (not necessarily an arrogant toerag, but a jock), and, especially if you're taking him from his death, I feel like you should maybe do some more with him and the Order of the Phoenix and fighting Voldemort? Just because he doesn't remember Harry and Lily Potter doesn't mean he doesn't remember anything since she became his wife, right? Besides that, though, I think you have his voice down pretty well... and I'd love to see some of the other Marauders here, just so he can interact with them. XD

Kat is awesome, and I can certainly understand a character like that getting overwhelming, but I really hope you don't have to drop her because of it. You might just have to pick and choose for her which activities she gets involved in, for your own sanity? There must be ways to find IC excuses for her just not seeing some entries - personally, sometimes I just have to say 'no, Yuan was busy working on other stuff and missed it'. Paradisa's just too huge, there's too much going on at any one time.

Also, she recently Pacted with Neku, so she has most of her old abilities from the Reaper's Game back. She can fight with Neku using Mr. Mew and everything... the only restriction is that she can't read minds, as she doesn't actually have a Player Pin. We just figure that it's like when Kariya thought that Joshua was playing the Game alive... it's possible, so she did it, but she doesn't have the Player Pin as she's not dead. Just putting it out there.
Specific Crit Requests: Not specifically! I am slightly curious as to whether I overuse the phrases "I mean" and "you know", but beyond that... I'm open to any crit you have for me. Isn't the point of these things to get better, after all?

I think you need to go with what you think is IC on the skepticism, it's not been very long in game and if his beliefs are deeply ingrained that magic is not real then there's no reason to rush it.

I've enjoyed seeing both characters around, and think you're doing awesomely at jumping in and making a ton of CR

Notes: I feel like I did a pretty good job getting him out and about during the pirate plot and I really hope I'm able to expand on at least some of the CR I made there (I really enjoyed flexing his nurse muscles). I know I'm not the most active player ever and it probably seems like I put in the minimum amount of effort but with a full-time job and a family it's hard to be around a lot. Also, I know I've been really stop-and-start with my tagging speed lately; my only excuse is that it's starting to get to be crunch time in getting ready for Dragon*Con so I've been busy with that--but that IS a resolution of mine, to be more consistent and quick with tags. I try to tag when I can during the day at work but sometimes I just can't.
Specific Crit Requests: Anything, really. The canonbump Rory just came back from has affected him deeply so I'm going to be trying to balance the grief and possible depression he'll be dealing with as a result without making him too grumpy and emo--but it will have a noticeable impact on his personality, especially at first. But if anyone feels like I'm making him too emo, please slap me.
Finally: How did I handle him during the pirate plot? Was he too assertive? I wanted to try out the idea of him unleashing his inner Lone Centurion but I feel it might have been too drastic a personality change. (Even though that was sort of the point.)

I think, honestly, the only crit I could offer is what you'd already said. I'd love to see more of him. I feel your pain. It's tough sometimes, what, with having a life and all. But, I know for me at least, I am willing to backtag forever. He and Eleven should hang out sometime!!
