Steampunk Race!

It's race time! Yes, the time for the Steampunk race has finally arrived.

Didn't sign up before but still want to race? That's fine! Just make a comment in the "Racers" section of the main post. Want to participate without actually racing? There's also a space for spectators, commentators, and hecklers hanging out at the northern outpost.

How will the winners be determined? At midnight GMT (8 PM EST, 5 PM PST) edit: midnight GMT tomorrow, Sunday June 8 to allow for backtagging! everyone who has commented in the Racers section of the main post will receive a number and Random.org will give us the winner. If you want to have your racer participate but NOT win, just drop a note here! The winner shall receive 5000 Caisos and an exclusive contract to build at least five similar vehicles for future expeditions. And bragging rights, of course. At this time the final section of the post will also go up declaring the winner.

This is not an HMD for players and their characters; this should be about the game's function as a whole and not the people in it. If there is something you feel is absolutely necessary to address that involves a specific person, please IM a mod first to discuss it. The right decision is often the most difficult to make

It's true but necessary. Helen Magnus will be leaving Paradisa to return home to her own past and live forward from there. For Helen this will be a mixed blessing but she has so much to look forward to.

On my side of things I have not been feeling up to par with Helen for a while and even with the gracious help and support of both cast mates and her in game social circle, I'm not getting better. I've attempted canon review, tried to plot and in the end I would just be delaying the inevitable if I kept hanging on. It's time to do the right thing and step down.

Thank you to all her CR, to her cast and everyone who has interacted with her. You are all wonderful.

Letters will be left for Ashely, James, Peter, Mal, Nikola, Galadriel and Naomi with general goodbyes and specific messages to each about how she cares, how proud she is and what they mean to her.

She has no pets, but the rose James gave her will go back to him, her room and the partial Sanctuary including SHU will be available or can fade back into the castle as need be.
