So, as of his last post, Gren has packed up all his things and departed the castle, and he and Vicious will be heading out into the Dead Zone to follow Spike, where they will also soon after disappear. As mentioned in the post, he's leaving the radio equipment and Cohen the lizard which were passed down to him, and anyone is free to take, abuse, or distribute those as they wish.

Gren's been here a long time. He would have hit three years in December, which is an improbable amount of time for a side character, but with the speed of the game and how withdrawn he's become, Gren seemed the best choice to get the cut.

I'm still here with Felix and Wade, of course.

Hello, Paradisa! Meowkitty here. If it wasn't terribly obvious at this point, changes in RL have been draining me and unfortunately this has hit my RP drive at well. As such, I will be dropping Firethroat. It's been a long time in coming honestly. I love this dragon very much, but as my most reclusive character she is also the hardest to meet activity. Thank you for those who played with Firethroat during her stay in the castle and were so patient with me over these past few months. I will always treasure the threads we've had.

The characters who were close to Firethroat and/or were owed boons for favors will receive a shiny red dragon scale, one of Firethroat's own. (At this point, I believe this includes Galadriel, Danny, and Felix. However, if you think your character matches one of the above criteria, they are quite welcome to receive one too.)

I'll still be here with Dairine and Sugar, so no worries there! Perhaps one day I'll once again have the time and energy to bring in another character as well.

So due to some RL stuff, I've been MIA for a large part of the month. I'm going to slowly (or not-so-slowly? who knows) edge myself back into the game now, but unfortunately, that RL stuff means I'm cutting down my character rosters across most of my games. Here in Paradisa, April Ludgate/

nooooo unfortunately isn't making the cut. I do still enjoy playing her, so she might be back in the future! But for now, I'm dropping her. Thank you to everyone who threaded with her while I had her in the game!

Hey there Para. I've been hit by the RL stick (read: repeatedly) and while things are so busy, rather than keep fighting it I need to cut back until things are settled. Five has made his last rounds about the castle and he will be leaving in a cascade of TARDIS vworps to go back to London 1984, Daleks, Dalek gloop, more Daleks, and making sure they're all dead before Tegan says goodbye to him too.

I had hoped to be able to tie things up beforehand and I'm really sorry I've been so out of the picture during September. :/ I've had such a blast here and you're all amazing, and I can't begin to tell you how much I have enjoyed and treasured Five's threads and CR here. So much that I'd hope to be able to come back at some point down the line.

Five won't be leaving letters or making goodbyes - he doesn't like them, too final, never say never. He has a few things he accrued here to leave behind though, not much, but a little.

Dairine: will get the wooden staff he fashioned at Terre Haute and the copy of the Wizard's manual will be returned to her, well used but cared for.
Wade: will receive a yale key ~~if she hasn't already due to magical handwavey because he was going to do this during the Paranatural plot.~~ It'll only open a box that's blue and about 8.5 ft tall, should it ever come back.
Galadriel: will receive copies of some of his medical books from the TARDIS library - he's annotated them for her with other methods/remedies also.
Conan: will receive a stoppered test tube of concentrated and preserved Paradisa Special Blend. There's a tag tied to the stopper: "1 drop = 1 day?" ~~How much of a bad idea is leaving this to Conan to figure out? Clearly it must be an accident considering one cup of tea knocked Five out for two weeks.~~
Felix: will get the Paradisa star charts and an exceptional telescope that were passed to Five during his time here.

Stay safe in the meantime Para and be good - or if you can't be good, at least have fun. ;)

Unfortunately it's time for me to bow out here. This was my first RP and I'll miss it and everyone. Thanks for all the really fun threads ♥ The only thing Meg really has to leave to anyone is the stuff Crowley left her and the Death Match, which she'll entrust all of to Felix. Her ending at home isn't a happy one, but she certainly got to prolong her stubborn existence at Paradisa and for that she was very glad. I'm fairly sure that her only close CR left is Danny, and she'd leave a note for him telling him not to do anything she wouldn't. Best sisterly advice ever.

Thanks again for all the fun, guys. Sorry I had to bow out so hastily. This job really snuck up on me with being so draining and going full time so soon. Feel free to take me off plurk if you only had me added for this game, or keep me if you want to stay in touch. I hope those of you who want to keep things going get to do so.

Hey guys! I'm really sorry to dump this so soon after the plot end. I had wanted to wrap things up, but I don't want to backdate too much when he should have been gone. Spike left with Anne, not long after hearing Julia's voice again (as he's always been one to overreact to these things), and they disappeared somewhere around the horizon. If anyone wants to finish any threads with him, anything that he's posted I will still reply to until the end of the month. (If mods are willing to allow that!)

Spike had a lot of inherited things, so if anyone is interested they are welcome to discover them. Joshua's mansion, Brock's cabin, Kaylee's Mule, and Faye's old zipcraft are the major things of value, otherwise they disappear with him. Julia's car and Ein are both going with him regardless. Ein will miss you most of all.

I've been here forever, and it's been a great experience. I care about each person I've threaded with, and I adored all of my CR. Thank you for everything! I'll always remember you.

So this has been a long time coming, and I feel bad for having dragged it out when I know my activity has certainly been underwhelming. I've been here for about six years I think, and had some of my most fulfilling RP experiences here! There's been amazing CR, plots, and surprises and I'll hold all of these memories close to my heart.

It's time for me to go, though, so I'll be dropping Anne Boleyn and bowing out. I'll try to wrap up a couple threads that I planned, but she probably won't make a big announcement about it. She's had enough, and there's nothing else left for her 'back home', so she'll be off finding a new life. She doesn't feel like she can actually help anyone here. She might drag Spike with her so she has a bodyguard but that's up to him.

Galadriel can keep her copy of the Tyndale Bible, her harp, and any pretty things that she owned while here. A few of her paintings of Elizabeth can show up in the Fifth Doctor's room, but otherwise Anne is going to be trying to take a lot of her ~~Elizabeth's~~ things with her, using The Once-ler's cart once a certain spiky-headed jerk's car won't work anymore.

Man, this is a hard post to write, but I've been feeling more and more detached from Paradisa for the last few months, and it's finally time to admit I can't bring up the drive to play here any more. I joined here in with Crowley in 2008, and have been a player, a helper and a mod in that time. It's sad to leave, but it's time for Crowley to go back to London to spend the rest of eternity messing with people and getting drunk with an angel.

He leaves behind his three cats, two dogs, boa constrictor, Ekans and Pysduck to Felix and Meg as a last douchey move to the people he cares about. He's good like that. The Bentley is going home with him.

It's been an absolute blast playing here, and I'll miss this place and the people in it like burning.

Paradisa folks, unfortunately, the time has come for us to part ways. I'm facing the same dilemma many others have as far as most of my important CR dropping, and it's killed my desire to do much more in this game. So this means Simon Tam, Jennifer Keller, and Richard Castle are all headed home- Simon to his sister and his girlfriend, Jennifer to her friends and boyfriend, and Castle to solve some crimes and plan a wedding.

It's been a blast, you all, and believe me, this was not an easy decision to make. I've made a lot of fond memories here and have had a lot of amazing threads and CR, which I will always look back on with a smile.

If you'd like to keep in touch or would like to resolve anything, I'm still around on Plurk as

shurimon; likewise, if you only had me added for this game and want to remove me, no hard feelings.

Y'all have been great, Para people, but with the majority of Maria's CR having dropped I'm sending her home too. I enjoyed my second time around at the game, and I've no doubt it'll be fun to play with you guys again if we are or ever will be in the same game.

Sup guys, TF here. I'm dropping both Cheese Sandwich and Ben Paul from the game. My drive for this place has plummeted, and I really can't drag on these characters, making minimal tagging efforts, it's not fair. Cheese leaves nothing, as is his way, but Ben had left some goodbye letters for those who have been his friends. I've had a blast playing with these guys, so thanks for the fun you gave me with them.

I'm still here with Crowley, hopefully with just the one character, I can get more involved and get my drive for this place back again.

It's been nearly four years here, but the time has finally arrived for me to call it quits. Molotov is heading out with her many, many pets to find Paradisa's version of Paris, from a few years ago, so she can live out her life in peace with Brock (who she hopes will join her!).

She leaves Spike a bunch of cigarettes (and his dog back), and she leaves Vriska all her cool clothes and makeup.

It's been real, but it's about time I headed on out. I've stepped down as moderator and am dropping both Vereesa and Nepeta. Neither of my ladies really had anything to pass on aside from some pokemon, but anything is up for grabs. Vereesa's going to join her sisters and Nepeta is off to have fun ghost adventures.

Hey guys. This has been a long time coming, and I really, really hate to do this, but I need to pull the bandaid off sooner or later, or else it's just gunna hurt more when I can't avoid it anymore.

It's come time for me to drop Paradisa. I've been in the game for nearly a year, and I had a total blast. I made some really great friends and had some really great CR, but my interest in the game has just been waning. My activity's been terrible lately (It's not you, it's me, I promise!), and I just hate the thought of character squatting even longer than I have already. So. Bandaid, pulling off, yadda yadda.

Elsa didn't have any possessions or many friends within the castle, BUT. She's not just disappearing without a trace. Should anyone bother to check Elsa's room, there will be two small, impossible-to-melt ice statues left behind for Simon (

pompous_today) and Anna (

hangintherejoan). They're nothing special, just small versions of Elsa's signature snowflake with their names carved at the bottom. Just a little something for them to remember her with.

I think I've written a "I'm Stepping Down From Staff" post like two or three times over the years, but I've always sort of stuck in the end for a variety of reasons. I certainly didn't expect to still be here halfway through 2014 back when I agreed to take on helper work in 2008.

It's been over six years at this point (seven considering the time I've played here) and honestly, I think it's time I admit to myself that I've long exhausted myself on Paradisa. While the drive to write sticks around, the drive to apply it to this particular game is going, and I can no longer justify to myself sticking around. I just need a fresh start where I'm not churning over seven years of history or trying to remember what happened when or where or whatever. I'm hazy on everything. I feel like I've lost all sense of time. I'm going crazy. (Hyperbole.) Basically 30% of my life has been spent in this game. I'm currently the longest-running player in the game. That's ridiculous in the best way.

So, at long last, here I go, stepping down as both staff member and as a player of both Ezio and Tess. They are headed home. Feel free to handwave keeping any of their stuff.

It has been a lovely time and I'll see you all around.
