CONGRATULATIONS

Hello there, Paradisa!

So, it's that time again! We are now looking for TWO new helpers to add to our staff. :) Duties of a helper usually include some or all of the following:

- Approving applications
- Granting comm access
- Editing the wiki
- General data entry/maintenance work
- Approving small events

We are looking for the following in a helper:

- Someone who has a good range of knowledge of different canons. We'd like at least one of these new helpers to have a solid background in COMICS.
- Someone who is willing to research and look up unfamiliar series.
- Someone who has been in the game at least three months.
- Someone who intends to remain in the game for the forseeable future.
- Makes activity check consistently, and does not have any outstanding activity problems as noted on our charts.

As some of you may have noticed, our largest application category is Animanga. It gets the most apps, and we feel it could definitely use an additional helper who will be dedicated to that section. As a result, we're looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

Has been in the game for at least three (3) months.
Intends to remain in the game for the forseeable future.
Makes activity check consistently.

Being a helper also means being assigned to a page for maintenance.

NEW STAFF!

As some of you may have noticed looking at the contact list, we've picked up two helpers, both from our activity check team. Those two people are the ever-lovely TF and Val. Today is their first day on the team so give them a warm welcome and congrats, yeah?

For those of you who haven't been here long enough to remember the last time we had helpers, helpers are mini-mods. They help maintain specific pages of the community (ie; TF is on Drops, Val is on Reservations), judge applications, and can approve small events like blowing up the microwave for the zillionth time. Having helpers divides up the work-load a bit, makes plots run smoother, and generally makes things more efficient. It also means having more people on-hand to know and judge applications.

We may be seeking an additional helper for the Animanga section over the next few days; if you think this could be you, watch for a post over the next few days.

HI GUYS. You might have noticed the slow speed with which apps and plots are being approved. IN ORDER TO REMEDY THAT, we're looking for TWO NEW HELPERS.

As a helper, you'll be approving/declining applications and adding/removing journals from the community ( should you encounter any problems with this, you can email us ). Consequently, you'll be added as a maintainer of the community to do these things and you won't have to apply when you want to pick up a new character. Applications for helpers will be open until October 22nd, midnight EST.

We're looking for THREE helpers at this time. Uhm! We know this is on a short notice, but we decided that it would be best if we added one more helper to the list now that we have applications opening up permanently. It's almost the same thing as last time, so yes, copy and paste. We would really like someone who has a wide range of fandom knowledge, specifically books/comics and stuff.

A huge thank you to all of you who submitted applications in the helpers post. We were really overwhelmed for receiving as many as we did, but nevertheless, thank you so very much. ♥

In the end, we settled on four helpers instead and here they are: Elena (divergent), Fudgey (continuing), Ru (lukkaya), and Terra (ryuuseisui).

I'll be adding you guys as maintainers in a wee bit and I'll be sending an email in a couple of hours ( sorry about that ), but yes. Welcome to the team~ ♥
