HOW'S THE GAME?
It's time for another round of Game Discussion, also known as
HOW'S THE GAME?
Here we come together to discuss the game, its plots, the settings, and just about anything we can think of that we'd like to talk about, expand upon, improve, change, etc.
This is not an HMD for players and their characters; this should be about the game's function as a whole and not the people in it. If there is something you feel is absolutely necessary to address that involves a specific person, please IM a mod first to discuss it. We can be reached at valawie (Valerie), fan of todd (TF), or never die ftw (Ashley).
Anonymous will be left off for this round. Sock journals are allowed, but you will have to request comm access to post with them.

Then I remembered Mirrormask.
I don't know if anyone is familiar with it, but a setting like the one in this world is what I'm thinking.
I'm not sure if a plot based directly on the film is wanted or necessary, given I remember earlier mentions that world changes should be limited to ones more people are familiar with. It can be a general thing, but if it WAS based more on the film I could see maybe everyone wearing masks in the Mirror world and/or discovering, in a twist of plot, that their Mirror selves are running about in their bodies back at the castle, acting generally ooc and making a mess of things.
Does...any of this sound interesting? idek

Sush I'm a Gaiman fangirl of course I know it. I would be interested in something like this indeedy! It could make for a very interesting introspective plot.
Oooh thinking of it, we could have it effect whoever wanted to be involved, have a separate comm as the 'Mirrorworld', like we did for Slenderman for the kids. Players could play their characters mirror-selves in the regular comm and their real selves in the mirrorworld comm. Anyone who wasn't part of the plot could deal with the mirror-characters in the castle.

I'll rewatch it on my day off on Tuesday, and we'll see what we can work out. Obviously I'll need to take it to Val and Ashley too, but this would be an epic thing.
