It's time for another round of Game Discussion, also known as

HOW'S THE GAME?

Here we come together to discuss the game, its plots, the settings, and just about anything we can think of that we'd like to talk about, expand upon, improve, change, etc.


This is not an HMD for players and their characters; this should be about the game's function as a whole and not the people in it. If there is something you feel is absolutely necessary to address that involves a specific person, please IM a mod first to discuss it. We can be reached at valawie (Valerie), fan of todd (TF), or never die ftw (Ashley).

Anonymous will be left off for this round. Sock journals are allowed, but you will have to request comm access to post with them.

If a player wants to do a loss that will have long-lasting effects on their CR/others around them, they really should be asking through the plot page. A lot of times what seems like it could be a harmless, small-group plot could grow into a large-scale plot. (IIRC, the TB vampire plot was supposed to be small in scale but turned into a game-wide event.)

At the time we also didn't have a dedicated calendar post, so a lot of times the plots were not as well spaced out as they could have been. Hopefully with the new calendar system and seeing three months at time, we can better space out any darker losses/plots so we don't run into the same problem again. :)

mmm that's basically what I was trying to say! Just keep in mind what's going on at the time. With the new system I don't see it being an issue since we know when everything is happening and also allows for early buzz/plotting to go on which is a nice plus.

I am almost positive all those player plots all had permission at the time too just so we're clear.

Oh yeah! They had approval. I was just giving it as an example of a plot that can seem small/cast-related but then everyone wants in on it. :P
