Comment with the names of the characters you play for feedback on your roleplaying. Other players will then reply to your comment telling you what they honestly think in a constructive manner. While both praise and critique is welcome, we'd like to remind you that this is a valuable tool for many of our members. We'd like to request that all comments remain constructive.
While the staff highly encourages everyone to participate, only comment if you are capable of giving and taking potentially harsh concrit in a mature, level-headed manner. Assume good faith at all times. Crit is meant to be resolved, not "won". Give mutual respect for each other's work and ideas. Aggressiveness creates unproductive stress and conflict. Anonymous commenting is ENABLED. Anonymity doesn't detract from the validity of concrit. An anonymous compliment is a compliment; an anonymous crit is still a crit. However, if you are going to post anonymously, consider it your obligation to follow up –– it is frustrating for muns to never get a reply back, and HMD should be first and foremost an ongoing discussion.
We have provided a form to post with, if you would like to use it. Mentioning things like canon points, permanent losses and recent major events in their lives in Paradisa may help give people a better idea of the character's mindset and current actions.
Alternatively, you may choose to post a link to your private HMD thread on the character's journal and take comments there instead. The first thread of this post will be reserved for those people, and we will freeze those comments. People will be expected to follow the link to the character's individual HMD to give crit there.

And that's ... not at all what my block of text says. It says because I don't know if you know TVD, I asked around and checked with the people who I know that do know it. They confirmed that they think frequent italics are appropriate and necessary. And I'm not saying that I'm too good for your crit either, I specifically said that I see where you're coming from with it but that I happen to disagree.
It's a mechanical issue that is at the discretion of the player. I'm sorry that me disagreeing with you on a mechanical issue comes at the cost of tagging with you. I really am. But I place my italics where I hear the verbal emphasis falling in Damon's voice. Not at random. So ... sorry. I don't know what else to tell you, anon, honestly.
