While the staff highly encourages everyone to participate, only comment if you are capable of giving and taking potentially harsh concrit in a mature, level-headed manner. Assume good faith at all times. Crit is meant to be resolved, not "won". Give mutual respect for each other's work and ideas. Aggressiveness creates unproductive stress and conflict. If you are emotionally compromised, you are not fit to captain the Starship Enterprise need to step back, take a break, and then return when you're ready.

Anonymous commenting is ENABLED. Anonymity doesn't detract from the validity of concrit. An anonymous compliment is a compliment; an anonymous crit is still a crit. However, if you are going to post anonymously, consider it your obligation to follow up –– it is frustrating for muns to never get a reply back, and HMD should be first and foremost an ongoing discussion.

We have provided a form to post with, if you would like to use it. Mentioning things like canon points, permanent losses and recent major events in their lives in Paradisa may help give people a better idea of the character's mindset and current actions.

Loss: All memories of Faith prior to arriving at Paradisa.
Canon Point: Just before the beginning of season 4 Deep Down.
Notes: I'm aware that I may have been spamming the game initially which resulted in a few lost/dropped threads. Am endeavoring to be better about trying to find a decent resolve, but please feel free to hit me up in PM or via AIM: notahobgoblin if I'm leaving something dangling which you want to continue.
Specific Crit Requests: I am hoping that I'm doing alright in dealing with the darker more emo side of Wes from where he is canonically and yet still allowing him the lighter moments and also rebuilding CR with his castmates (and also with new people) since obviously Paradisa won't let him stagnate or remain brooding in his room the whole time. Let me know if I'm striking a good balance or need more work etc.

All I really have to say is this: prior to you arriving here, we've had a few Weses (Wesii? what's the plural of a Wes?) and they were either flashes in the pan, or a bit grating to read. So I was wary about getting CR with him, again ...

... And now I'm looking back at the Slenderman plot and absolutely LOVING the interactions that Ray has had with him so far. So ... I suppose my biggest compliment is, thank you for making me LIKE this guy again. :D

(And yes, this is coming from someone who hasn't seen any Angel, and is looking into rectifying that ASAP thanks to our cast. :D)

This is going to be another pretty unhelpful crit. As you know, I pretty much love your Wes. I think you're doing very well at the whole dealing with canonmates who are not at his canonpoint and therefore do not shun him et cetera thing. I love stalking his threads with Lilah and Fred, and I love his relationship with Spike. So. You are awesome. Be shocked.

tbh i think you are concentrating too much on emo not enough on dark. wesley isn't a canon moeblob emokid, he's a bamf with a lot of issues and a self-destructive bent. your wes is, not to put too fine a point on it, way too nice 99% of the time.
