Comment with the names of the characters you play for feedback on your roleplaying. Other players will then reply to your comment telling you what they honestly think in a constructive manner. While both praise and critique is welcome, we'd like to remind you that this is a valuable tool for many of our members. We'd like to request that all comments remain constructive.
While the staff highly encourages everyone to participate, only comment if you are capable of giving and taking potentially harsh concrit in a mature, level-headed manner. Assume good faith at all times. Crit is meant to be resolved, not "won". Give mutual respect for each other's work and ideas. Aggressiveness creates unproductive stress and conflict. Anonymous commenting is ENABLED. Anonymity doesn't detract from the validity of concrit. An anonymous compliment is a compliment; an anonymous crit is still a crit. However, if you are going to post anonymously, consider it your obligation to follow up –– it is frustrating for muns to never get a reply back, and HMD should be first and foremost an ongoing discussion.
We have provided a form to post with, if you would like to use it. Mentioning things like canon points, permanent losses and recent major events in their lives in Paradisa may help give people a better idea of the character's mindset and current actions.
Alternatively, you may choose to post a link to your private HMD thread on the character's journal and take comments there instead. The first thread of this post will be reserved for those people, and we will freeze those comments. People will be expected to follow the link to the character's individual HMD to give crit there.

Re: wow this one is long
Maybe I should give myself a time limit, because waffling is only gonna get me so far. :/ Hmm... I guess I should drop someone by this summer? And I should know who I'm dropping by next... weeeeek. Someone hold me to this! I have no willpower whatsoever.

(Anonymous) 2011-03-13 07:49 am (UTC)(link)some questions I would consider thinking about this: whose voice is coming the most easily? whose tendency to get involved in big-time plots and such requires the most commitment (do you have time for those commitments?)? do you have a hard time coming up with posts for some of them? posts are the basis of AC in para though comment threads can count for passing AC. I think if you give yourself less to commit to you will probably do better with the commitments you have.

I will definitely think about this. Thank you for the guidance, anon, I really appreciate it.

(Anonymous) 2011-03-14 06:58 am (UTC)(link)again its not that I really want to see you throw any of your guys out. but it might be best for you personally if you lighten the load and focus more on fewer characters.

I do recognize that you're trying to help me! It's just that this line of thinking probably wouldn't benefit me. Thank you, though, it's an excellent suggestion.
