HOW'S MY DRIVING?

Comment with the names of the characters you play for feedback on your roleplaying. Other players will then reply to your comment telling you what they honestly think in a constructive manner. While both praise and critique is welcome, we'd like to remind you that this is a valuable tool for many of our members. We'd like to request that all comments remain constructive.

While the staff highly encourages everyone to participate, only comment if you are capable of giving and taking potentially harsh concrit in a mature, level-headed manner. Assume good faith at all times. Crit is meant to be resolved, not "won". Give mutual respect for each other's work and ideas. Aggressiveness creates unproductive stress and conflict. If you are emotionally compromised, you are not fit to captain the Starship Enterprise need to step back, take a break, and then return when you're ready.

Anonymous commenting is ENABLED. Anonymity doesn't detract from the validity of concrit. An anonymous compliment is a compliment; an anonymous crit is still a crit. However, if you are going to post anonymously, consider it your obligation to follow up –– it is frustrating for muns to never get a reply back, and HMD should be first and foremost an ongoing discussion.

We have provided a form to post with, if you would like to use it. Mentioning things like canon points, permanent losses and recent major events in their lives in Paradisa may help give people a better idea of the character's mindset and current actions.

Alternatively, you may choose to post a link to your private HMD thread on the character's journal and take comments there instead. The first thread of this post will be reserved for those people, and we will freeze those comments. People will be expected to follow the link to the character's individual HMD to give crit there.

At the least, just for OOC coordination reasons. Depending on how involved any such take-down might end up being, maybe more than a week? Unless it goes the ninja surprise way which could be hilarious but -- presuming it doesn't, at least a week to coordinate people/things OOCly to help smooth it out ICly and/or account for folks who would be around ICly but might be unable to OOCly at the time. Plots that are as grand and elaborate as final take-down fights need much more planning than just a week. It needs time for people to consider how heavily they want to be involved, and see if they can arrange to be there when it happens.

ALSO so that no one else plans a loss/event around the same time and we wind up with too much all at once.

Yes, good points, especially with planning to not have other events/losses interfere, and better time to let people figure out how/when to be involved, and how heavily.
