HOW'S MY DRIVING?

While both praise and critique is welcome, we'd like to remind you that this is a valuable tool for many of our members. We'd like to request that all comments remain constructive.

While the staff highly encourages everyone to participate, only comment if you are capable of giving and taking potentially harsh concrit in a mature, level-headed manner. Assume good faith at all times. Crit is meant to be resolved, not "won". Give mutual respect for each other's work and ideas. Aggressiveness creates unproductive stress and conflict. If you are emotionally compromised, you are not fit to captain the Starship Enterprise need to step back, take a break, and then return when you're ready.

Anonymous commenting is ENABLED. Anonymity doesn't detract from the validity of concrit. An anonymous compliment is a compliment; an anonymous crit is still a crit. However, if you are going to post anonymously, consider it your obligation to follow up –– it is frustrating for muns to never get a reply back, and HMD should be first and foremost an ongoing discussion.

We have provided a form to post with, if you would like to use it. Mentioning things like canon points, permanent losses and recent major events in their lives in Paradisa may help give people a better idea of the character's mindset and current actions.

I just wanted to say that I am loving Karkat. I'm honestly not a huge fan of Homestuck. I tried to get into it and just couldn't understand what I was reading. But I really like some of the individual chars and I'm so impressed by Para's players at making a very difficult canon accessible. I think you balance his anger and age and abrasiveness perfectly and it makes him a joy to tag off of.

Bawwww, thank you! That is my main worry with this little shit: making him true to character with being an angry, abrasive asshole without actively turning away CR. I'm glad that people realise that his brusqueness doesn't mean I don't want to tag with them!

KARKAT. OMG, KARKAT. He's amazing - I've been re-reading Hivebent in fits and spurts recently, just because it's the best act ever, and the more I read, the more I'm in awe of our whole cast, really. TROLLS ARE HARD, MAN. Especially since AH breezes through the same breadth of info and time that he devoted three acts to with the humans. So ... pulling a full character out of all of that jumble is nothing to sneeze at. And for nailing him as well as you seem to have, I salute you.

Harry is definitely gonna keep in touch, he loves the guy. ;) Also, expect pokings from Ray here, too, since he's determined to meet all of you trollthings.
