While the staff highly encourages everyone to participate, only comment if you are capable of giving and taking potentially harsh concrit in a mature, level-headed manner. Assume good faith at all times. Crit is meant to be resolved, not "won". Give mutual respect for each other's work and ideas. Aggressiveness creates unproductive stress and conflict. If you are emotionally compromised, you are not fit to captain the Starship Enterprise need to step back, take a break, and then return when you're ready.

Anonymous commenting is ENABLED. Anonymity doesn't detract from the validity of concrit. An anonymous compliment is a compliment; an anonymous crit is still a crit. However, if you are going to post anonymously, consider it your obligation to follow up –– it is frustrating for muns to never get a reply back, and HMD should be first and foremost an ongoing discussion.

We have provided a form to post with, if you would like to use it. Mentioning things like canon points, permanent losses and recent major events in their lives in Paradisa may help give people a better idea of the character's mindset and current actions.

Notes: I don't really have any, I don't think. NEVERMIND, I THOUGHT OF SOMETHING. He wasn't around much during the Slenderman plot, which I think is very out of character for him but the thread I tagged into kind of died before they went anywhere due to Barbara Gordon's player dropping. Plus, I was honestly kind of lost by all of the posts with evidence and stuff. Complete fail on my part, I know. But I thought I should mention this because I am aware of how un-Angellike it is.

All of your characters are so perfectly IC lmfao I can't even alegkjag. The only crit I have is that sometimes Angel's posts are mostly filters with a random action part or a hard to reply to part so it can be difficult to forge new CR with him. :( I've been trying and maybe I missed an opening but I never seem to find a post that seems open to strangers to reply to.

Now that you mention it, I actually see this too fff. I'll definitely try and get him posting with less filters, and situations that are a little easier for people to tag into. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. This is probably why I have failed to forge any of the CR with him that people wanted from the CR meme.

As a side note I will always take your CR and hold it close to my heart. B)

No, it's definitely something that I've been doing and haven't even really been aware of. I'm going to work on it though so no worries. I also appreciate the words of encouragement. I always get very doubtful of Angel's voice for some reason, so it's definitely good to hear that I'm still on the right track.

I hate to bring this up, but is there a reason that you dropped Ares's thread with Molotov? It was just really disappointing, because I'd waited so long for them to get CR.

I'm glad you did. I honestly haven't been in much of a tagging mood lately--if you look at Angel and Ares' recent posts, they have both kind of tapered off/been receiving very slow tags from me. For what it's worth, I haven't/hadn't planned to drop it. I was hoping they'd pick up when my drive to tag returned and have just been doing like snail tags in the meantime, but I probably should have mentioned that to you (and everyone else who I am tagging in those) ahead of time.

Backtagging is something that I've been doing a lot. I rarely give up on a thread altogether unless the other person drops it, or we both agree to just let it die. I'm still tagging threads in the post before Angel's previous post with Cessily and Brennan/Bones. I can see why it looked like I abandoned it though, and I'm sorry I didn't poke you about it. Just suffering from tagfail over here lately. I'd love to continue it if you still wanted to though. I was excited to get those two mingling after you expressed interest way back too.

Your Angel does NOT suck, and I love him. I enjoy his rapport with Spike and how Angel is... pretty much reluctantly starting to actually talk to Spike. I think he's very AC and definitely one of the best Angel's I've seen. I also love what he's doing with mannequin!Cordy right now.

Always good to hear! I don't know why I lose my confidence with him. I think, because he's one of my favorites, I always want to make sure that I'm doing it right or something. But I'm glad that people have no complaints characterization-wise.

As far as Angel slowly warming up to Spike, I think it's currently one of my favorite dynamics to play out. I'm having a lot of fun, and I can't wait for Spike to find out Angel's been lying about his loss. That should be pretty fun.

I've been meaning to get around to this for a while. I haven't keyworded any of my icons either/was planning to do this together/am sill in the process of switching some out but you're right, that is something that I've been forgetting about/putting it off for a long time. I'll make this more of a priority.
