HOW'S MY DRIVING?

Comment with the names of the characters you play for feedback on your roleplaying. Other players will then reply to your comment telling you what they honestly think in a constructive manner. While both praise and critique is welcome, we'd like to remind you that this is a valuable tool for many of our members. We'd like to request that all comments remain constructive.

While the staff highly encourages everyone to participate, only comment if you are capable of giving and taking potentially harsh concrit in a mature, level-headed manner. Assume good faith at all times. Crit is meant to be resolved, not "won". Give mutual respect for each other's work and ideas. Aggressiveness creates unproductive stress and conflict. If you are emotionally compromised, you ~~are not fit to captain the Starship Enterprise~~ need to step back, take a break, and then return when you're ready.

Anonymous commenting is ENABLED. Anonymity doesn't detract from the validity of concrit. An anonymous compliment is a compliment; an anonymous crit is still a crit. However, if you are going to post anonymously, consider it your obligation to follow up –– it is frustrating for muns to never get a reply back, and HMD should be first and foremost an ongoing discussion.

We have provided a form to post with, if you would like to use it. Mentioning things like canon points, permanent losses and recent major events in their lives in Paradisa may help give people a better idea of the character's mindset and current actions.

Alternatively, you may choose to post a link to your private HMD thread on the character's journal and take comments there instead. The first thread of this post will be reserved for those people, and we will freeze those comments. People will be expected to follow the link to the character's individual HMD to give crit there.

Awww bless her. Maybe she could go on a loss where she suddenly starts blurting her feelings out. Or perhaps one where she thinks the journal is a regular diary, writing out her thoughts unfiltered. Unless those would do her more damage?

Not going to lie, I really don't see a frequent posting of the permissions post to be necessary, if at all. If people have issues, they'll go to the posts themselves, and doing this is just shoving the characters/cast more and more into people's faces which is pretty much why the fandom gets so much flack in the first place. Informing people "Hey, don't forget this is here! Hey! Look at us! Hey." is excessive in my opinion, and makes the ENTIRE cast seem like we're this pushy with throwing our "special needs" out there for all to fuss and meddle over. :/

I think there have been two death-drops, but that's all.

At this point I think reworking the consequences of death for the entire rp is about the only thing that will snap the characters out of their apathy, but this thread is about Riful and not that klajsklf

I pretty much agree with everything you've said. :|b Characters coming together to figure out a long term way of handling villains (muns should totally do this too) is a good way to develop CR and stuff.

I'm glad you did. I honestly haven't been in much of a tagging mood lately--if you look at Angel and Ares' recent posts, they have both kind of tapered off/been receiving very slow tags from me. For what it's worth, I haven't/hadn't planned to drop it. I was hoping they'd pick up when my drive to tag returned and have just been doing like snail tags in the meantime, but I probably should have mentioned that to you (and everyone else who I am tagging in those) ahead of time.

Backtagging is something that I've been doing a lot. I rarely give up on a thread altogether unless the other person drops it, or we both agree to just let it die. I'm still tagging threads in the post before Angel's previous post with Cessily and Brennan/Bones. I can see why it looked like I abandoned it though, and I'm sorry I didn't poke you about it. Just suffering from tagfail over here lately. I'd love to continue it if you still wanted to though. I was excited to get those two mingling after you expressed interest way back too.

Absolutely anything is fine with me. I've been weirdly without any specific goal for Sakura in Paradisa beyond growing past where she's pigeonholed herself in canon, or rather at least changing that idea of herself.

... Eventually, BUT YES basically anything always, I'm more than up for her being used/tossed into/played cat's cradle with or anything of the kind!

You're right about those characters, and quite a few of them are very vocal so I don't think it'll end up being an issue, but I wanted to put that out there just in case.

Yes, please do! Lorne loves having people come down to Caritas. I really need to do a Caritas open post this month, it's been a while since I last did one. She's free to swing by then or any other time.

I'm too new to have seen much of Brennan but the thread that I saw that you did with Booth was fantastic and your voice was spot on! She's a really hard character to voice and I love how you do it and, like above, I love her reluctance in admitting things like magic and ghosts because... it's so Brennan.

This isn't crit exactly, and though I haven't had CR with anybody but Uru and only that one thread, but I would like to see her follow up on talking to Emil about having Felix get a look at his curse. This seems to happen to me a lot where I say "get back to me about this" and then nothing ever happens with it. I suppose it's partially on me for not getting at you OOC to see if you are going to pursue it, but also given your massive CR pool it's probably easy to forget incidental encounters like that.

I guess that was the long way of saying "CR plzthnx?"

I've really only read a handful of X-Men comics, I'll admit it, though that's something I'm working on changing. I was more into the animated X-Men stuff, and so Logan dealing with the X-kids here is all new to me, and I'm trying really hard to use my own knowledge from every X-Men canon I'm familiar with to make his actions make sense. I'm glad you think it's working fkla;jf ♥ ♥
