Quick status update and some questions. Read this or you will find me gnawing on your kneecaps sometime tonight.

The shooting range now has its own page.
A small gallery has been added to the World Beyond page.
The Video Games, Animanga and Movies/TV application sections were getting convoluted, so there are now new pages for those. The new posts link to the old posts, if you ever need to get back to them for something. Break 'em in, folks ;)

How do we all feel about a week-long world-change plot this month? I know it's hard to answer without saying what it's about, but are we all in the mood for some uprooting and mass post sprees?

And how about the occasional mass post set in the general castle, unrelated to any major event, just to put in a few neutral playing grounds for everyone? Save it for events only?

And unrelated to that, how do we all feel about a plot that would start dealing out some answers to Paradisa's mysteries?

Weather Update: It's June!

Guess what this means? Well, now that the shock and awe of May's beauty has worn off, time to welcome in that beautiful season we know as summer. The skies during the day are a beautiful blue with rich, fluffy white clouds, it's warm with only a nice touch of humidity, and it's perfect light-clothing weather. The breeze is just light enough to keep it cool, and it's naturally a bit colder in the evenings.

And, of course, over the month, it'll gradually get hotter. Each day is a bit hotter than the last, in true June style.

World changed might be fun. I can't say for sure.

I like little optional side-plots, so I vote yes.

Hoping it will be like Lost and the answers don't really lead to anything right away. Once the mystery is solved then idk where it would go from there. But then if you guys could pull it off it would probably be twelve shades of kickass.

Sounds good to me! :D Plots are yay, mass posts are also yay - I used to play in a game that had a 'bar' post every day and it got super crazy but was fun - and secret-revealing is vair interesting. ♥

That's the idea... I know people already do a lot of open posts, but maybe it would encourage more threadjacking? Idk. It's a suggestion. Open for discussion. :D

As Christina said, write it up and pitch it :) What's going down, day-by-day breakdown of what'll happen, etc. I've read the first half of the first book so if you need help anywhere, I can try? :D

Either way, daemons and etc, that would be pretty sweet.

Oh, I wouldn't want to solve everything. then it would lead to this:

"Wow, I'm in this new place!"
"Welcome to Paradisa. You come here against your will, but you can get out by doing this."
"Oh, that's how I get out? Okay, thanks, see you."
"But don't you want want hang around and find out some things?"
"Not really, no."

And besides: we want the game to go on. It's just about giving people a bit of something-something. Especially older characters. Six months and over is a loooong time; it'd be nice to get a bit of a reward. LOST is exactly what I had in mind; one step forward, two steps back, two steps forward, one step back, repeat at random. Leave you wanting more without throwing down the keyboard like "OKAY SCREW THIS SHIT I NEVER FIND OUT ANYTHING."

Or something. Either way, I wanted to know more what the comm thought of having some sort of over-arcing, continuing Paradisa-centric plot before we start fleshing anything out.

That actually sounds really fun. I am on board with this 150%.

Hmmm. Advance warning about incoming mass posts for people to sort out time zones, etc, but the content being a surprise? I don't want to do things like "look it's a room", I'd want to... throw down things with temporary changes to the castle, introductions of weird things, idk. We'll see.

Yeaaaah. I admit lately I've been on a huge "plotplotplot" kick and I might drop a few characters so I can focus more on world-building and writing/running plots here. I don't want people to get bored and I love running plots, soooo.

Super. We'll probably put up a poll to get an ~*~official~*~ plan soon.

Nah, I don't want it overcomplicated, either, so that's definitely something we'll be mindful of when introducing answers. :D

But isn't Reno on vacation? ;)

Yeah, that's my hang-up too: I don't want to discourage open posts, but people seem to respond better to threadjacking in mass posts (even if it can be a lotttt of scrolling.) Likewise, I'd want to tie the random mass posts into things, not just have random "look guys it's the laundry room"

Me too. Lately it's taken to eating posts, and there is nothing like typing up a 500+ word rambling Bad Girl post only to have it VANISH when you hit post.

It's a world-change. I'm looking forward to it, too. <3 World changes.

Yeaaaaah. I'd want mass posts to somehow... FORCE characters to talk or act together. We'll see <3

I love the gallery. *__* And the plot stuff sounds neat to me. Mass posts seem like they'd be fun and might make it easier to find ways to approach different characters, and I like the sound of a plot that deals with Paradisa more.

If you do mass general posts, I'd highly suggest having them be on the weekends, so the most people can have a go at them! <3
