Quick status update and some questions. Read this or you will find me gnawing on your kneecaps sometime tonight.

• The shooting range now has its own page.
• A small gallery has been added to the World Beyond page.
• The Video Games, Animanga and Movies/TV application sections were getting convoluted, so there are now new pages for those. The new posts link to the old posts, if you ever need to get back to them for something. Break 'em in, folks ;)

ALSO:

How do we all feel about a week-long world-change plot this month? I know it's hard to answer without saying what it's about, but are we all in the mood for some uprooting and mass post sprees?

And how about the occasional mass post set in the general castle, unrelated to any major event, just to put in a few neutral playing grounds for everyone? Save it for events only?

And unrelated to that, how do we all feel about a plot that would start dealing out some answers to Paradisa's mysteries?


Weather Update: It's June!

Guess what this means? Well, now that the shock and awe of May's beauty has worn off, time to welcome in that beautiful season we know as summer. The skies during the day are a beautiful blue with rich, fluffy white clouds, it's warm with only a nice touch of humidity, and it's perfect light-clothing weather. The breeze is just light enough to keep it cool, and it's naturally a bit colder in the evenings.

And, of course, over the month, it'll gradually get hotter. Each day is a bit hotter than the last, in true June style.

I'm OK with having the plots, but a more exact date for this month would be good too.

Not sure about the general mass posts, though, because it can take one by surprise that way, being unexpected and all.

We were leaning more towards the end of the month, but there's no reason why we can't put up a poll later and see when everyone wants it, specifically.

True, true. I was thinking along the lines of... "a ____ has appeared in the ___ room" and people can react/interact over it.

Mass post sounds good, plot sounds fine... middle of the month would be better.
And... dealing out answers would be neat, but none of my muses honestly care that much. Although Lyra could help, probably.

Also... could we maybe have a page for the grounds/gardens? Because I know quite a few residents, my Arwen included, are tending the flowers... and she's building herself a little treehouse thing in one of the on-grounds woods... anything else that's been built/is being built could be listed on the page.

Maybe mention too that even though there would be a world change at the end of the month there is an in-castle "opt-in event" planned for the middle of the month? Cause technically it's planned for things to get sorted in the middle for the pay-off over that weekend. LOL

World change plots are always awesome, and any time in the month does me just fine. As for random mass post sets, they're cool, but some heads-up or a general time they'd be put up would be appreciated, it's those tricky time zones rearing their ugly heads again.

Answers are also cool. I think only Hodgins would care out of my lot, but he'd do it enough for the rest of them.

As for occasional mass castle posts...I like the idea, but on the other hand I feel that this is kind of already served by open posts. Although I guess I feel more comfortable randomly threadjacking on "plot" posts....idk.

Don't fret if we don't reply to you, generally we reply to the plot when we're ready to try and set up dates for it.

Everything sounds ace. A while back during one of the anon memes some people seemed to feel like the game didn't have enough plot anymore and was getting to be a drag, so these upcoming developments would work towards making the game more fun and developing it further. The mass castle posts sound like they'd help with building up CR, which I'm totally up for. And world-changes are always fun in theory. It's just a matter of me not flaking out on them like I usually do, hahh.

Yeaaaah. I admit lately I've been on a huge "plotplotplot" kick and I might drop a few characters so I can focus more on world-building and writing/running plots here. I don't want people to get bored and I love running plots, soooo.

- Shooting range is awesome. It will give McCoy more to do and I guess Reno can use it for shooting practice. Yes, you read that right.

- Gallery = pretty!!

- I for one would love a world change plot. As for the time, I'm more for middle of the month because if all goes according to plan, i'm going to be out of town at the end of June for a week.

- As for a mass post that's unrelated to events I'm not really sure how I feel about that. We already have a plethora of open posts for that and if anything it might just make people post less while they wait for the mass post. I mean the mass post was cool for the Dino plot when...there were dinos that would respond to you, but besides that I'm not really in love with the mass posts stuff. I would love to see more PLOT related posts.

- And answers to the castle would be sweet :D I would always love a good plot like that.

Ugh, I hate it when LJ eats comments. Essentially I said:

A week-long plot would be awesome (world change, or no?). I was just wondering the other day when the next one would be, because I was really running out of things for my characters to be doing, and my motivation in turn (then again, that is more than likely me, not you guys ♥). Plots are always fun!

And I tied this to my response for the mass post, because, well, I love those and they are always welcomed on my end. Open posts can only go so far because a lot are often "meet someone somewhere; conversation" which isn't exactly spectacular for anti-social characters who don't like small talk, and mass posts allow for interacting with people that normally aren't very open with their posts, etc.

Answer plot? Yeah, sure.

Hmmm. Advance warning about incoming mass posts for people to sort out time zones, etc, but the content being a surprise? I don't want to do things like "look it's a room", I'd want to... throw down things with temporary changes to the castle, introductions of weird things, idk. We'll see.

I like little optional side-plots, so I vote yes.

Hoping it will be like Lost and the answers don't really lead to anything right away. Once the mystery is solved then idk where it would go from there. But then if you guys could pull it off it would probably be twelve shades of kickass.

Oh, I wouldn't want to solve everything. then it would lead to this:

"Wow, I'm in this new place!"
"Welcome to Paradisa. You come here against your will, but you can get out by doing this."
"Oh, that's how I get out? Okay, thanks, see you."
"But don't you want want hang around and find out some things?"
"Not really, no."

And besides: we want the game to go on. It's just about giving people a bit of something-something. Especially older characters. Six months and over is a loooong time; it'd be nice to get a bit of a reward. LOST is exactly what I had in mind; one step forward, two steps back, two steps forward, one step back, repeat at random. Leave you wanting more without throwing down the keyboard like "OKAY SCREW THIS SHIT I NEVER FIND OUT ANYTHING."

Or something. Either way, I wanted to know more what the comm thought of having some sort of over-arcing, continuing Paradisa-centric plot before we start fleshing anything out.
