HEY KIDDOES.

Two things - one, we've set up a QUESTIONS POST where you can ... ask questions. As in, "is it okay if my character [insert action here that is not really plot-post worthy but you want to get approval for anyways]?" or "what's the official policy on what happens when [insert scenario not addressed in the faq here]?" type of questions. If you can't catch us on AIM - or even if you can, this post will make it easier for the mod staff to discuss amongst ourselves and make sure everyone's in agreement~

AND SECONDLY. We've re-opened the CHARACTER COMPLAINT post since we've found the email method isn't as effective. Anonymous comments are enabled and everything will be screened.

Enjoyyyy~! :D

I have a concern about the character complaint post. If anonymous commenting is enabled there, what is to stop someone from deliberately making multiple anonymous complaints about the same person in order to get them removed from the game? I'm just worried in general because from the rules listed in the post, it seems to me that a system like that could be abused pretty easily, especially if no justification is required from the complainant and the party about whom the complaint is made is given no chance to respond or explain. It seems to me that someone could be perfectly IC and end up getting kicked out if one person anonymously abused this system in order to orchestrate that.

It does make sense. I'm relieved that there is actually some standard for what makes a valid complaint and that the person in question would be contacted/you'd hear them out too.

I guess I'm just not really comfortable with the anonymous thing, because then the number of complaints becomes pretty much meaningless (assuming they're made anonymously)--it could all be the same person wording the same complaint differently to make it seem more serious than it is. If the comments are screened, I guess I don't really see why someone couldn't be open with the mods about making the complaint when it could lead to someone getting kicked out of the game eventually. I can see why you'd want to protect the complaining person's identity initially so it doesn't turn into a huge wankfest, but I don't see why the additional anonymity between the mods and the person complaining would be really needed?

That's just sort of my opinion on it. There could be something important that I'm missing in all of this or something. I guess that I just wanted you guys to know that as a player, this makes me kind of uncomfortable, but maybe I'm the only one who's paranoid like this. XD
