Waited a few days for anyone backtagging, but here we go:

Just for anyone who's curious, during Jurassic Park plot, on the mass plot posts alone, we did a whopping 8678 comments. Add on all the individual posts and I'm willing to bet we did, easily, over 10 000 comments.

For four days, that is a HELL OF A LOT of comments. Not sure how that stacks up against the average, but bravo, Paradisa, bravo.

Welcome home, everyone! You're back in Cair Paradisa! IN THE DUCK POND, SOAKING WET. AND IT'S STILL THUNDERSTORMING. IN YOUR TACKY TOURIST CLOTHES.

PLOT OVER.

Thank you so so so much for  making this plot so fun; participation was awesome. I'll edit in rough numbers soon, for the lulz.

Any thoughts? How did you guys feel about having a lot more mass posts, instead of the usual anything-goes set-up? Concerns? Constructive criticism? General dinosaur love?

Again, much love goes to Mimi, for bringing forward the Jurassic Park suggestion in the first place, and for letting me take it. It was fun.

For those who volunteered to be on Team Power On, Tony and Parker are with Dr. Hammond in front of the computer room. Just have your character mosey on over there if you're still interested! We'll figure out where to go from there.

The Hike Post has been updated! This morning, our intrepid band of explorers get to battle rising river waters and dilophosauruses! (Dilophosauri?) If you're on the casaulty list feel free to fall into the river, slip and crack your head on a rock, get blinded by the dinos, or get blinded AND nibbled on by dinos. For the sake of getting the rest of us back in with the main plot threads, try to get your characters back to the main complex by noon gametime. They didn't go THAT far but expect having to take some detours due to the nasty river and running from dinos. :) All sections up! P.S. Tagging from me will be slow today as I am at work, and god forbid I should actually work! :D But don't worry, the dilophs will still be happy to nibble on you.

Day Two:
  • Exploration
  • Beautiful, sunny weather until the afternoon, when a thunderstorm rolls in.
  • Yes, you did sleep in a tent on the herbivore plains overnight.
  • Power out in the evening; no raptors yet, don't worry.

Ideas for things to do:
  • Explore the museums, laboratories, libraries, dinosaur movie theatres
  • Get together a group and go on the Park Drive. (4-6 people per car)
  • Watch the velociraptor feedings.
  • Hang out around camp.

Major Events:
  • At 6 PM (EST), the last tour of the day on the Park Drive will malfunction and the cars will stop... right in front of the T-Rex enclosure. Power out!
  • There will be a thread for anyone on the Park Drive.
  • It’s a five+ hour hike in the thunderstorm to get back to the visitor’s centre, and the roads are getting washed out pretty fast. Best stay the night out.

Major Plot Posts:
  • Luncheon (noon)
  • Park Drive Shut Down (late afternoon going overnight)

Need a refresher? Click here. Basically, you're waking up on a cruise ship that just docked on the island. You have a suitcase of vacation clothes, your journal, and you have no powers.
