This month marks two years in the castle for Rise! Between that and the probably-insane amount of wishing she's done for new clothes and shoes and bath products, the castle's dropping one last loss on her before her actual Paraversary hits towards the end of the month (and the game ;~;).

Backdated somewhat to the 5th, Rise will spend a few days deaged to around five or six years old. Unlike last time, this will be a mental and physical change - she'll still have her castle memories, but they'll be altered to make her believe she's always been that age. This means instead of her super friendly and outgoing teen self, she'll be a super awkward and shy little girl, and quite probably terrified of anyone she's not already friends with. She'll open up a little more with her friends, though! (So she can still be perky and cute and potentially a brat to Conan, etc.)

Following this, on the 9th, she'll be going in the opposite direction: aging up to her mid-twenties for a few days. This time, she'll believe she'd been sent back home for all those years, where she's successfully made her comeback as an idol and transitioned to a career acting in films as she grew older. Following her character growth from shy little girl to outgoing but uncertain teen, adult Rise will practically ooze confidence. Be afraid, be very afraid...

There'll be an open log for both losses and Kissmas shenanigans as soon as I can write it out! If anyone wants to plot anything specific out, let me know here or contact me via PM or Plurk @

So, Ashura hasn't been on a non-death induced loss in awhile, so I decided to do a mini-one before the plot starts on the 26th! Ashura will be a merman for a few days! He'll be gifted with a fabulous tail with orange and red scales, and live in the castle pool!

Come and keep him company - he promises to save you if you start floundering.

So Aaron has been here for almost a year and still haven't got a temporary loss. I want to fix that. The idea I got is that he'll be stuck in a room and stuck in one kind of clothes. The room'll be the clinic. So next week he'll wake up in there even though he went to his own bed. It'll last a week. While he's stuck in the clinic he'll wear a nurse uniform. Not the pink one which's common in USA though but a blue one (seeing as he's British). At least I think UK nurses got blue uniforms?

Anyhow. Do I need some kind of permissions? Also I would love to plot something out.

Hello, everyone!

Starting tomorrow (July 25th) and lasting a week or so, with mod permission your friendly neighbourhood Jennifer Keller will be going on a temporary loss where she turns into a Wraith, a bug/human hybrid creature from her canon. (Wiki Link #1 Wiki Link #2) TL;DR, Wraith are sentient and have above human-level intelligence... and also need to feed on life energy (i.e. drain human beings) in order to sustain themselves.

Jennifer will still retain her personality and morals while changed, so she'll be trying her damndest to avoid people so she doesn't have to resort to that, but if you'd like to plot out any encounters or close calls, just let me know! I'll be putting up an open log tomorrow where she'll be out on the grounds walking her dog when she suddenly changes and has to try and sneak back to the castle.

Also, for extra bonus points, I do have a PB of sorts- Jewel Staite played a young Wraith named Ellia in an earlier episode before she was cast as Jennifer, so I'll be using Ellia for her icons. Therefore, she'll still have the same voice and have recognizable facial features, so if anyone cares to get a closer look, they may be able to tell who she is.

Yes, I'm bringing back a loss for Sheena! Once again, she's going to wake up and discover she's a pony...but this time...

She's a Pegasus!

And she's going to be as graceful in the air as she is on her feet... Except she won't have to worry about falling into holes...

Just crashing into buildings. :D So, if you see a white Pegasus with purple hair heading your way... DUCK AND COVER.

This loss is going to going to start today and go until the 19th--so she just may be running into a couple of alicorns along the way. :)

Banner is going to experience a loss starting tonight around ten thirty central time. His Banner and Hulk forms are going to be reversed! So, when Banner is calm he'll be big and green and strong. When angry, he'll shrink to his usual size. :D This will take place in the labs, where he is working on the bloater problem. :D

I've been threatening to do this for a while and because January seems to be the month for it, I'm hitting Five with a loss thing.

For the next 7-9 days (I've not made my mind up how long completely yet, great start, yay!) Five will be possessed by the Mara from Doctor Who.

Skinny version: evil demon and the embodiment of temptation, all terribad, he'll be mean to chars, try to tempt them into doing bad things and he'll pretty much be a manipulative sod. All while carrying out pranks that vary from plain stupid and mean to the outright dangerous; there is at least one (small) castle surprise in store that I checked was ok to go ahead with first.

I'll look to get a post up tonight and I'll also link in some more information on what to expect from him. Like this link here with all the TL;DR you can shake a stick at. For the curious, Five will be aware of what's going on but he'll be 'locked in' (because where's the fun in him not knowing what's going on?) Technically I'm calling this a loss but there is room for Five to be fixed (haha, oops) if anyone wants to play with that. :)

ETA: Permissions might need to be a thing if you want to fill 'em.

It’s been a while since the castle has put Galadriel on a loss and I am going to fix that. Starting tomorrow and last a week (unless I’m having too much fun and decide to extend it) Galadriel is going to be revisiting her youth- not her childhood, I’ve done that one, but the time when she was a young woman. Post-First Kinslaying and at the beginning of her time in Doriath, for the canon familiar

Things that are important to note:
-She will look almost exactly the same. Elves, amirite?
-She will not answer to “Galadriel,” but will answer to “Artanis” or “Nerwen.” She will also never have heard of this Lorien place.
-Will not be wearing her wedding ring. As far as she’s concerned she’s a single lady and no one has put a ring on it.
-Personality-wise, she’s going to be more arrogant, less cautious, and less wise. But she’s fundamentally the same person.
-She’s also been through some more recent trauma, which may show through from time to time, though she won’t be wanting to talk about it.

The IC start of this will go up sometime on the six and I'll link it back here.

As of today, Rise has been in the castle for exactly one year! Naturally, the castle itself isn't going to let her forget such a momentous occasion, and she'll be dealing with the age-old tradition of a Paraversary loss.

Starting today, and for at least two weeks, Rise will be a mermaid! Fish tail, modesty-preserving seashells, confusing anatomy and all...

Of course, since it's winter and the duck pond would be cruel and unusual punishment, the castle will be dropping her in the swimming pool instead. Where she'll be stuck for the duration of the loss, or until someone brings her a wheeled bathtub or something to get around in.

A post will be going up later today! Please bother her and/or rescue her...?

It's time for Wade very first loss after almost six months in game. Thanks to being from a canon that occasionally likes to make it's character wear silly things for the sake of plot, Wade will wake up today dressed the Santa's helper elf costume she dons for a good part of the S3.E12 episode "Season's Greedings" - as is in the icon it consists of a dress, candy cane stripe stockings, pointy bell-toed shoes, and fake elf ears. For the sake of comfort, she'll be able to take it off to bathe and whatnot (minus the ears, those are stuck on), and she'll be able to wear sweaters and things to keep warm, but only if they're holiday-themed.

The loss will last from until Christmas Eve. :D

Hi guys.

Been thinking about it, and I decided to throw an old loss back at Six for amusement value, and a chance to get her out a little easier than it is for a Spartan. I've been having a slump with her, and I figured it might not be a bad option for the lone wolf to possibly need to look to others a little for helping hands at times again.

As now, she's a literal one for a bit. Probably a week.

Will be setting it up with a journal entry tonight, and probably a log for in person interaction with the wolf tomorrow.

Howl's been in the castle for quite some time now, and has thus far managed to slither out of nearly every consequence to be be had. But after his latest round of poking, the castle has decided it's tired of his nonsense. So starting tomorrow, and for the next week or so, Howl will be rendered intangible by the castle. But it's kind, so his journal will be, too, making it the one thing he can actually touch to any real degree.

He will not be happy, to put it lightly, and his whining about it will commence some time tomorrow morning.

Just a heads up that on Friday I'll be putting Legolas on his first loss! Yay!

A lot of us have seen Bambi and Bambi 2 right? Well, thanks to a certain friend, I can't help but see Legolas and his dad as Bambi and his dad. So Legolas is turning into a baby deer on Friday.

Legolas loves you too, castle.

He'll be of his own mind but younger everything else is deer-like. And will probably hang around people he knows.

Hey Paradisa, Neb here. I'm not too happy with some choices I've made with Utena's development, and on top of that, I have some personal stuff going on that's making it hard to focus on RP. So! I'll be taking a month long hiatus to do a canon review, rethink the direction I want to take her, and just take care of life in general.

But that's not all! To explain Utena's absence, she's going to go on a month long temp loss. From now until mid-December she's going to be transformed into a small sika deer. She'll have both the mind and body of an animal (albeit a relatively tame one), and she'll be walking around the castle grounds like she owns the place. And she'll still be friendly towards the people she's already close to, and probably anyone who has food and doesn't try to spook her. I'll be putting a post up tomorrow for anyone who wants to interact with her.

Starting later today, Felix will re-emerge from his ritual completely insane. This will replicate the same magical affliction he endured during the majority of the first book. Obviously it’s difficult to put down exact rules for insanity, but Felix’s madness has a few basic guidelines:

It should be mentioned that there is an intuitive nature to Felix’s hallucinations due to the fact that the affliction is magical rather than mental. When he sees people as animals, they are reflections of that person’s true personality or nature (the short-spoken and imposing Lord Protector appears as bear, his brother appears as a fox even before he knows his nickname, etc). The colors he interprets as feelings are entirely accurate and often can be read even when a person’s face or voice cannot as easily be so. The ghosts he sees are real, and he actually sees a curse attached to someone he would not have known was there otherwise.

To aid me as I write Felix for the duration of this loss, I’d be appreciative if anyone threading with him in person fill out this form to give me inspiration, especially if I am not familiar enough with the character to make it up myself.

If there are spoilery or sensitive subjects in your permissions that you wish to keep private, please feel free to PM the form to me instead. Post here with completed permissions, questions, or plotting. The loss will end sometime shortly before Halloween, though I have yet to settle on a date. This is as vulnerable as Felix is ever likely to get. He will also be very bad at functioning like a person and will likely need supervision like a five-year old to make sure he eats/bathes/dresses, not to mention the random wandering off for reasons he won’t quite be able to articulate to people. Enjoy that. I know I will. :3

Well, it's been awhile since Vanyel has been on a loss, and since an idea occurred to me I think I shall go for it!

Starting tomorrow, Vanyel is going to be a unicorn! But not just any unicorn, a unicorn ala Miss Lackey's 500 Kingdoms universe. So he will be a shiny white unicorn with a shiny, sparkly white horn...

And he will go goo-goo eyed for virgins (or stupendously righteous, but virgins are more likely). He will just know. All this means is that he will follow you around like a love-sick puppy and generally act ridiculous and stupid until you are far enough away he is released from your magical virgin wave-lengths! So if you interact with him, just drop a hint that your character is one who has not carnally sinned (male or female!), and good luck getting him off you.

SO, Souji would have liked to have gone on that expedition, but I was struck by a very sudden case of the busies and haven't had much RP time lately. For an IC reason why he hasn't been around, I'm going to say he's been on a loss, that being that he's about three inches tall right now. He hasn't been able to leave his room or even get to his journal for a while now, so yeah.

I'll keep him this way for a couple more days for shenanigans sake, then back to business as usual!

I haven't done something for Duke for a while, and I really would like to have a good-mood Duke somewhere (given he's a mess in another game-)

So Duke is going on a loss! He's going to be roughly 20-25 or so, which means he won't look or sound too much different -

Except he can actually use his face for some expressions now. Gasp, shock and horror. He'll be thinking he has always been blind, to avoid 'WHY CAN'T I SEE ;A;' posts, and I'll be using the account

Totally forgot to post about this outside of Plurk until now, whoops.

Starting on June 1st (Rise's birthday!), Rise and Conan Edogawa will be swapping (apparent) ages for a week! Which means Rise will be seven-ish (but look like she's probably around four or five) and Conan will be back to being a teenager!

Rise won't actually be affected mentally, but she has a lot of immature tendencies and will definitely be whining about it. So she'll probably seem like an actual child to everyone else. And I can't speak for Lel, but I'm pretty sure Conan/Shinichi will be making his own life harder, as always. ^_~

This is also sort of karma for everything Rise's put Conan through! So the more people Rise doesn't know (or worse, people she does) treat her like an actual kid, the better. >;3

patching_up

5 has been here for a couple months, but he hasn't yet been hit with any losses. I feel the need to amend that issue. SO, beginning on May 1st and spanning the first two weeks of May (including the duration of the Event Horizon plot), the poor little bastard is going to be turned into a human!

He looks like this, for those of you who are curious.

This transformation will not only be disorienting for him because he's normally 6 inches tall, but also because he's normally inorganic-- meaning that he's never had to (or been able to) eat, or drink, or cry, or bleed, and he's going to have all of those things thrown on him at once. Granted, some of those things will be pleasant to experience, but the fact remains that he has no understanding of how to physically function as a human being. Thanks a lot, castle.
