Bring on the Short Jokes

Hello people of Paradisa! I'm Malia, and I'm bringing you Edward Elric from the Fullmetal Alchemist manga! He's taken from Chapter 84, after he got some treatment after almost getting killed by Kimblee and has made it back to Resembool in search for his bro and Winry.

I'm not great at intro posts, so I guess I'll tell you guys a bit about myself. I've been roleplaying for about 5 or 6 years and I'm a college student studying archaeology and Japanese and I love cats. If you have any questions for me, feel free to ask them here or send me a private message. I'm also on plurk, and you can reach me at earthykitty.

EDIT: I'm a durp and I didn't tell any of you what Ed's loss was! He lost the ability to flip out when people call him short, and will instead be complimenting them in response. Have fun with that.

I already replied to your post IC, but I'm going to reply to you here anyway XD

Anyway hi, I'm Dirk, and I've just got Evan Sabahnur here, who's a clone of Apocalypse from Marvel Comics. Ed will have a fun time trying to figure out where Evan pulls his extra mass whenever he shapeshifts himself into something more than his body mass should allow for XD. He kind of tosses equivalent exchange right out the window, this one, so it should be fun to see Ed baffle over him breaking the laws of physics just by existing.

Welcome to the game!

X-Men as a comic series can be pretty hard to get into. What I suggest is finding a character (or characters) that you like and relate to, and just read everything that they've been in, as far back as you choose to go. My current favorites are obviously Evan here, who's a fairly new character, as well as Jonothon "Chamber" Starsmore, who got his start back in the mid-90's with the "Generation X" book, and David "Legion" Haller, who's been around since the 80's, and is the son of Charles Xavier.

Pretty much, yeah. Evan pulls his mass unconsciously from an extradimensional source, and stores excess mass in the same place when he makes himself smaller than he normally is. He can, in theory, manifest any physical superpower that exists, as long as he researches it's biological basis, but he's still fairly limited in how long he can sustain his more advanced shapeshifts, so he has to go back to normal after a while. Shenanigans shall be had!
