Ah, Valentines Day, a time to love and be loved. Or be single and alone. Whichever floats your boat, really. As always, on the 14th, the castle will decorate itself for the occasion, going all out. The walls will become pink, there will be obnoxious heart shaped balloons everywhere , pink streamers, rose petals: the works. There will also be romantic violin music always in the background. Where did that even come from?

On the 14th of February, all residents will receive a heart shaped box full of chocolates and a a sad little cake. These have magical properties, which kick in when a resident eats them, with varying effects:

ღ Hazelnut – Make them serenade someone
ღ Caramel – Make them propose to someone
ღ Strawberry crème – Make them kiss the first person they see
ღ Ginger – Make them fall in love with someone
ღ Mint – Make them ask someone out on a date
ღ Orange crème – Make them spout corny pick up lines
ღ Double chocolate – Make them admit their true feelings to people (romantic or otherwise)

ღ A slice of Single Awareness Day cake - Makes them shun all romantic advancements and obsessively collect either live animals (bonus points if they're cats) or teddy bears

Characters eat as many or as few chocolates as they want, so they don’t have to pick just ONE effect if they want to play more. No matter how many are eaten, the cake and chocolates mysteriously replenish themselves. The effects will last until the 16th of February.

Jane won't take chocolate, and she won't take cake! She'll think someone's trying to trick her, if not outright picking up that it's a castle trick. You should, however, trick her into those chocolates.

I just want to say, I'm really tempted to troll Jane into thinking that Sirius got the chocolates for her without even knowing the truth about them. I have the tag written, even, I just keep 'hnnnnnng, do I...' at it XD

Presea is still new to the castle, so she might eat the chocolate/cake. She'd be cautious about doing so first.

Somehow her attempting to hoard live animals sounds adorable though.

On one hand, Sayaka will be dubious of food with !!unknown origins!! and I doubt she'd eat the chocolate or cake of her own accord...ON THE OTHER, it's a sucky commercialized romantic occasion (pfffff) and ironically suited for her... squints at canon.

So! If anyone wants to force candy on her/dramatic gesture at/etc, go right ahead, and I'll also throw her at any posts I can!

Evan still largely trusts the castle with regards to food and stuff, so he is very exploitable as far as chocolate goes, and will likely try them all at some point, so I'm totally up for whatever shenanigans people want to get up to with him!

As hilarious as it would to make Church a victim of any of those (hooray for corny pick up lines!) he's probably going to miss it.

If you really want to prank him, I can get him back to the castle for at least the last day of the plot. Otherwise he's going to be out of the Castle for the duration.
