While the staff highly encourages everyone to participate, only comment if you are capable of giving and taking potentially harsh concrit in a mature, level-headed manner. Assume good faith at all times. Crit is meant to be resolved, not "won". Give mutual respect for each other's work and ideas. Aggressiveness creates unproductive stress and conflict. If you are emotionally compromised, you are not fit to captain the Starship Enterprise need to step back, take a break, and then return when you're ready.

Anonymous commenting is DISABLED, but sock journals are ALLOWED. If you would like to use a sock journal, you will have to request access to the comm first. If you want to receive anonymous crit anyways, please take advantage of the Private HMD thread (see below).

We have provided a form to post with, if you would like to use it. Mentioning things like canon points, permanent losses and recent major events in their lives in Paradisa may help give people a better idea of the character's mindset and current actions.

I remember all of that :D! I was expecting Azula to accidentally piss Prime off or something. In fact, I think all the Superfamily and DC characters running around at the time is what convinced me to app in the first place.

See, I SO did not want it to be Riful 2.0! I think a lot of Paradisa's baddies fall into the trap of being violent and nasty for the sake of it. They're all Chaotic Evil types who do evil tings just because they can or they're need to do it is so great, they don't have a choice (vampires and blood, Arthas and souls, etc.).

I wanted to do something different with Hank: instead of being monsters on the fringe of society, he and his cohorts would be on top of society. They'd be in the Mayor's favor and everything.

The good guy's would be between a rock and a hard place. These new troublemakers basically have diplomatic immunity, and Hank's tech makes the townsfolk love them. They'd have to make some pretty hard choices. I don't know, I've been watching too much X-Files/playing too much Deus Ex, so now I'm on a huge CONSPIRACIES!!!1 high.

That makes sense. I guess it would take something both new and fresh, but at the same time still stays true to Clark and his personality. I sometimes wish we had the option of decanon bumping to an older point in Paradisa and not just in main canon.
