PLOT IS A GO

☆YEAH BOIIII☆

This marks the start of when things get rolling! All the events of this plot will ICly take place on Friday August 12th, but OOCly we'll be starting Thursday August 11th since there's a lot to get done.

So for those interested/involved in the plot, here's what everyone's come up with as the general:



August 11th:



  • Hostages manage to let the heroes know they've been captured by Riful to be used as a deterrent & stop them from mobilizing
  • Heroes go EFF THIS and decide to turn things around by calling out/provoking the villains as a distraction while they rescue the hostages

  • Heroes call out villains
  • Riful, Hank & Arthas leave the manor
  • Legato & Joshua use The Key to get into town, leaving the manor

  • Rescue teams confront & defeat Nikola & Billy
  • Hostages rescued!

  • Heroes are victorious!

    And that's the gist of things! As far as resolutions go only Hank has anything planned--so heroes are free to do whatever they wish as far as injuring/killing the villains goes (sans Joshua, whose mun does not want him killed).

    It is not too late to get involved if you so wish! If you want to do something but aren't sure what just send me an IM and I'd be happy to help :)

    There will also be a series of chats available throughout the duration of this event to help with coordination/tagging! These chats will run 24/7 and the head villain for each chat SHOULD be in them (plus moi!)

    So lovely and organized! I only wish I could think of time charts like that.

    Also yeah, just want to mention that on Joshua dying, I decided that because a few players close to him CR-wise expressed they didn't want him killed, as that wouldn't offer any closure. However, if this has changed, and the majority would prefer him to be killed, I'm willing to do that, too! I'm just going with the flow here.

    Given that his involvement ICly is a surprise, I understand it can be hard to plan ahead for that kind of fight, but I'll be around in the chat later or to IM if anybody wants their characters to jump in last minute.

    Katara is going to be on the long-range Legato team, and will be.. baffled when she finds out after the fact that the sweetheart on the journals was that guy fighting with Legato. c:

    I think everyone signed up to fight either of them are going to get kind of thrown together and have the option of fighting both in some manner. Joshie's gotta watch Legato's back.

    This is true. Christ if Sakura does look like she has some trouble with Joshua, any psychics who don't have to focus on Legato sure can ruin Joshua's day.

    A bit confused here. River is only signed up for the final battle, so should she be involved in the rescue mission? Same for my Rose muse.

    The rescue and battle happen at the same time! So they'd have to choose one or the other :)

    River pretty much has two guns she'll be firing and she shines the most during battles so I'd want her there for the final fight. Rose is a fellow vampire and possibly the only one who can overpower Nikola. So I guess we just assume they're there for the rescue and only play out the battle?
