While the staff highly encourages everyone to participate, only comment if you are capable of giving and taking potentially harsh concrit in a mature, level-headed manner. Assume good faith at all times. Crit is meant to be resolved, not "won". Give mutual respect for each other's work and ideas. Aggressiveness creates unproductive stress and conflict. If you are emotionally compromised, you ~~are not fit to captain the Starship Enterprise~~ need to step back, take a break, and then return when you're ready.

Anonymous commenting is DISABLED. If you want to receive anonymous crit anyways, please take advantage of the Private HMD thread (see below).

We have provided a form to post with, if you would like to use it. Mentioning things like canon points, permanent losses and recent major events in their lives in Paradisa may help give people a better idea of the character's mindset and current actions.

Alternatively, you may choose to post a link to your private HMD thread on the character's journal and take comments there instead. The first thread of this post will be reserved for those people, and we will freeze those comments. People will be expected to follow the link to the character's individual HMD to give crit there.

I realise a lot has been going on with Jr. involving Riful and battles and serious plot stuff, and the Host Club is a silly crack event that as a character he's not very involved in, but I'd like to bring it up just briefly.

If he no longer has the time or inclination (or OOCly you no longer have the inclination either) to be part of the club, I swear I won't be offended. I would LOVE him to still be part of it, their CR makes me laugh like a crazy person, but it's quite hard without knowing if I'm supposedly assuming he's there or if he's ICly missing and should be stalked down by idiot boy to make sure he's not dead.

Sorry if this didn't make sense ):

Honestly usually the problem is the host club things are put up without too much warning (or I just miss the warning, I wouldn't put this past myself either), and that they're often posted on days I'm gone all day. A few times I noticed it happened while I was on hiatus or Jr. was notably on a loss/unavilable for such shenanigans, so it's really just been bad luck all around, along with me forgetting to find stuff and backtag it after the fact. I definitely know some of the fault lies with me not doing this, so I am sorry.

I love Tamaki and Jr.'s CR, too! I definitely don't want to drop the ball, either. He HAS been super busy with Riful stuff lately, but since ICly the host club activities take so little of his time, I don't see any feasible reason he'd pull out unless battle is right around the corner. I was actually planning on asking you something about that, so I'm glad you brought it up.

Have you considered sending out a mass email to all host club members like a week before each meeting? That way there's no misunderstandings about when it is/what the theme is, and people can also let you know if their character will be unavailable for that specific meeting. It'll be much easier than having to assume or track us down individually.

Either way, I'll do my best to tag into the next one!

Every single month since they started, right after the last post, the date for the next one goes up on the Paradisa Host Club wiki page (http://paradisa.wikia.com/wiki/Paradisa_Host_Club#Basics). The one exception to this is this month, because it is an event that is being pre-organised as a bigger thing than the others - so the wiki still shows June's date.

However, I can also send out emails a week before if that would be better, I don't have a problem with that at all =)

I...think that's probably why I miss it. I'm used to announcements on the OOC comm or emails or something, so I always feel caught off guard. Sorry about that.

IDK, maybe put it to a vote? I don't wanna make you do extra if everyone else is totally fine with just the wiki thing. I was just unaware is all.

Psh, it's no extra work to send out one mass email a month. It's probably a good idea and I'll do it from August (as July is the event).
