While the staff highly encourages everyone to participate, only comment if you are capable of giving and taking potentially harsh concrit in a mature, level-headed manner. Assume good faith at all times. Crit is meant to be resolved, not "won". Give mutual respect for each other's work and ideas. Aggressiveness creates unproductive stress and conflict. If you are emotionally compromised, you ~~are not fit to captain the Starship Enterprise~~ need to step back, take a break, and then return when you're ready.

Anonymous commenting is ENABLED. Anonymity doesn't detract from the validity of concrit. An anonymous compliment is a compliment; an anonymous crit is still a crit. However, if you are going to post anonymously, consider it your obligation to follow up –– it is frustrating for muns to never get a reply back, and HMD should be first and foremost an ongoing discussion.

We have provided a form to post with, if you would like to use it. Mentioning things like canon points, permanent losses and recent major events in their lives in Paradisa may help give people a better idea of the character's mindset and current actions.

Alternatively, you may choose to post a link to your private HMD thread on the character's journal and take comments there instead. The first thread of this post will be reserved for those people, and we will freeze those comments. People will be expected to follow the link to the character's individual HMD to give crit there.

Yeah, a lot of what was preventing me from being as active as I'd have liked over the past few months is nearly over. A large chunk of it finished today, actually, so that's good news (and a load off my mind, let me tell you).

While I might not be throwing him at any and all that would have him over the next few weeks, you have my word that by the beginning of April you should be able to notice a marked increase in his (and my) availability :D

Also, I'd freaking love to have CR with you. Han, Logan and Lois? Want that. So bad.

His relationship with Riful started because they had a mutual determination to figure out what happened during the plot where Souji went crazy and killed... Nanako and Chie I believe? I don't know the official name of the plot. I also wasn't here for it, I've only heard it about/read the old logs. Anyway, Riful sort of helped him with it and vice versa. (sort of.)

He has NO idea she's dangerous, haha. He hasn't been told yet or done much poking around about it. He's a really trusting guy so he has no reason to. But I suspect he'll catch on soon enough. Either someone will tell him or he'll begin to observe the reactions others have to her.

Like I said, Souji's a very trusting person. So it'll take a bit before he completely DISTRUSTS her. However suspicions are imminent.

Yeah, that plot took a LOT out of me between the two of them. Eleven was tough to keep up with, man. I'm glad you enjoyed Gos and DW in the plot. The kidnapping post was SO heart wrenching for Ang and I. She's another one I was worried about, since I don't tag around with her as much as I should.

That's the problem, though - I usually tend to app for the long term. I don't really get tired of characters unless I specifically app them just to be funny. Every character that I've ever apped (except for Tucker) I've had plans for that runs years into their future. There are directions I'd like to take with them, people I want them to talk to, etc. At this point, thinking about which character I'm most enthusiastic about is impossible because... I'm active with and love all of them, equally (even Ken, who has only one castmate!) Thinking about it in those terms, I think, really wouldn't help. :/

I do recognize that you're trying to help me! It's just that this line of thinking probably wouldn't benefit me. Thank you, though, it's an excellent suggestion.

Idk who that other anon is, lol. And while I find your tl;dr brick of "yeah, I won't take crit and my friends think I'm awesome so stfu" text annoying and immature, whatever. The issue is that you use too many italics and in the wrong places. Reading your tags allowed is awkward and weird, because you seem to pick words to use an i tag on at random. Italics should be used where verbal emphasis would fall, and you just shove them in there willynilly.

Also, just an fyi telling someone you're just too good for their crit makes you come off like a douche. I had no issues tagging you before now, but your attitude makes me think twice where your lack of mechanics skill didn't.

I sincerely hope that you aren't using icons made from images which are not owned by the icon makers that you get them from. I would hate for you to have to wear all of that egg on your face for being such a hypocrite.

They confirmed that they think frequent italics are appropriate and necessary. And I'm not saying that I'm too good for your crit either, I specifically said that I see where you're coming from with it but that I happen to disagree.

It's a mechanical issue that is at the discretion of the player. I'm sorry that me disagreeing with you on a mechanical issue comes at the cost of tagging with you. I really am. But I place my italics where I hear the verbal emphasis falling in Damon's voice. Not at random. So ... sorry. I don't know what else to tell you, anon, honestly.
