wrap-up!
So we're pretty much done le grande finale of the Christmas/New Years' plot –– feel free to backtag as much as you want/can/to your heart's desire. We just have one little problem to wrap up, which is the castle being, well... gone. And we can't have an RP about a magical castle sans castle, so that's why at midnight, the castle's going to restore everything...
Exactly to how it was on New Years' Eve, with every resident standing wherever they were when New Years ticked by. The town's the same way it was, too –– it's as if nothing ever happened. None of it. There's no sign that any of it ever happened, other than injuries and memories.
Which begs the question... was any of that... real?
So, in summary, as of midnight, just about everything in Paradisa is back to normal, castle and all. All the residents' personal things are exactly as they were left on New Years', untouched. Everything. (If you're insane, you can have your hangovers back.)
And then life goes on!
(Though we won't blame people if they don't want to stay in the castle tonight. Creepy!)
First of all: thank you all so much. You were all fantastic, and patient, and because of it, we had relatively few roadbumps and a whole ton of smooth sailing. Even though everyone's been busy and things have been hectic, it feels like everything's gone swimmingly and it certainly was a blast to see everyone play. Trust us when we say that we've had the time of our lives planning everything and putting it all in motion, and there are no words to describe how happy we are with how it's gone.
So that was a crazy/fun/insane/adjective month-and-a-bit. And after that, naturally, we need to know how we did for reference for future plots. What were your favourite parts? What was your least favourite? What would you like to see more of? Less of?
For the last week alone, we know we had problems with timeliness on emails and the usual confusion where some people don't know what's going on/have missed the loop. The emails were kind of cool for a change-up, but would you like to see that kind of plot method scrapped, or tried again in the future? It was certainly more labor-intensive on the mods' end, but it wasn't without its merits –– we got a LOT of IMs, emails and comments from people buzzing about how excited they were for it to be more of a surprise than plots usually are.
And thank you again for everything!

I think this particular plot--both because of what it was about and the fact that it was the first of its kind in many ways--needed to be this length, with an epic surprising amount of destruction ending like that. And I loved every second of it.
But for future plots, yes. A little more length to settle in, and some alternate ways for everyone to work, would be awesome!
