Introduction

Hello, Paradisa!

My name is Ceru, and I'm new here. I decided to join this particular, wonderful community on the pestering of one Indi. I am more or less spazzing out over here with anticipation; I haven't done Livejournal-style multifandom RP in years, but I have very fond memories of it and am looking forward greatly to giving it another shot. Here's hoping I don't screw it up too badly.

With the onset of this introduction, I am bringing Five (or 5, if you prefer) from the 2009 movie "9"-- which, for those of you who are unfamiliar with it, takes place in a post-apocalyptic wasteland where all organic life has died out and the only surviving creatures are a group of small, sentient sackdolls... that, and, y'know. The giant metal abominations trying to brutally murder them. Five is a sweet-hearted and compassionate person, albeit more than a tad cowardly and reliant on his friends for support. He's being brought into the game post-death (my apologies for the spoiler, there) and the concepts of not being dead and waking up in a world that's beautiful, intact, and has humans in it will be a huge shock for the little guy. Not to mention that his loss involved the purging of all memories regarding the person who created him... so yeah, he's going to be a bit disoriented.

He is, for the record, only about six inches tall, so please watch your step! I hope we can all get along, and I'm excited to meet everybody and start playing. His introductory journal is up, if you feel compelled to greet him. :>

Small Edit: I have made a Plurk for myself, because I've heard that's the major method of OOC chatting and plot discussion around here. I don't really know how to use it very well, but you can find me at Cerulesta if you would like to add me!

(Indi: I know this wasn't what you were expecting in the way of characters I said I'd probably app, but I hope you can forgive me. I felt like he needed some love.)

Re: How's My Driving

Our next round of How's My Driving will be held this Saturday, February 23rd.

Anonymous commenting will be allowed for this round of HMD. In the last HMD, we had turned it on after polling the community. As there was no inflammatory anonymous comments, we will be allowing it for this round as well.

As always, the staff will be available to help moderate the event. Inflammatory comments will not be tolerated, whether anonymous or logged in. Abuse of anonymous commenting will result in its removal for the next round. Sock journals are still allowed as well.

Broken Filters, oh no!

Every now and then, the Castle likes to spice things up a bit. Enchanted chocolate, changes of scenery, alterations in appearance...

This time, the Castle is targeting the journals.

All journal filters made beginning Friday, February 22nd at midnight will no longer work. Private filters, room filters, filters to specific people or away from specific people? All gone.

After all, the Castle doesn't get why residents need privacy anyway.

Fear not! This isn't permanent. Paradisa will eventually become bored with this and on Tuesday, February 26th at midnight, the filters will revert to their wonderful, functioning state. Of course, the damage will already be done by then, but better late than never!

Mini Hiatus!!

This is Phi, also known as Remus' mun here. I am just posting this so everyone knows that I am going on a mini-hiatus during the weekend, due to the fact that I am attending a convention. :3 I will be making at least one post this weekend anyway, but I will be mute on any replies until I return home on Monday.
