Introduction

Hello, Paradisa!

My name is Ceru, and I'm new here. I decided to join this particular, wonderful community on the pestering of one Indi. I am more or less spazzing out over here with anticipation; I haven't done Livejournal-style multifandom RP in years, but I have very fond memories of it and am looking forward greatly to giving it another shot. Here's hoping I don't screw it up too badly.

With the onset of this introduction, I am bringing Five (or 5, if you prefer) from the 2009 movie "9"-- which, for those of you who are unfamiliar with it, takes place in a post-apocalyptic wasteland where all organic life has died out and the only surviving creatures are a group of small, sentient sackdolls... that, and, y'know. The giant metal abominations trying to brutally murder them. Five is a sweet-hearted and compassionate person, albeit more than a tad cowardly and reliant on his friends for support. He's being brought into the game post-death (my apologies for the spoiler, there) and the concepts of not being dead and waking up in a world that's beautiful, intact, and has humans in it will be a huge shock for the little guy. Not to mention that his loss involved the purging of all memories regarding the person who created him... so yeah, he's going to be a bit disoriented.

He is, for the record, only about six inches tall, so please watch your step! I hope we can all get along, and I'm excited to meet everybody and start playing. His introductory journal is up, if you feel compelled to greet him. :>

(Indi: I know this wasn't what you were expecting in the way of characters I said I'd probably app, but I hope you can forgive me. I felt like he needed some love.)

Oh, by the way-- you're a mod, right? I have a question... will Five's journal and room be sized to suit him, is he going to have to ask the castle to adjust them, or will he have to just deal with everything being huge in comparison? I couldn't find any information regarding that sort of thing in the glossary or anywhere else, so I'm curious.

I am indeed a mod! And yes, it'll shift to suit the size of the character. We've had characters from 9 in the game before, and the journals have always been sized just for them :)

Eeee, it pleases me so much to hear people saying they loved the movie. I loved it too, of course-- but it's great to know that people are going to want to interact with him. He'll be happy to have some attention.

Five is pretty much exactly as adorable as he looks. So, in other words, extremely adorable... or at least I think so. But only time will tell how adorable you end up finding him. Regardless, thank you for the wonderful greeting.~

ahhh I'm always so flattered when people are so happy to see that I play Simon. He's my oldest currently active muse (I've been playing him in various games for 3 /12 years now).

The others will at least have familiar faces- Jennifer is played by the same actress as Kaylee, and Castle by the same actor as Mal. XD

Aaaaaaa Jane!! I have seriously considered apping somebody from Homestuck, though I'm absolutely clueless as to who. You guys have a great sized cast here, so I'll definitely think about it if I decide to add a second character. I love Jane. <3

Five is perhaps a little too sweet and gentle for his own good, especially considering the world he lived in. But here, I'm not guessing that will be a bad thing; I'm hoping he'll be able to get along with more people because of his kind demeanor. Thank you for your lovely greeting!

I didn't play him for very long but I used to play Five when the game was over at LJ. NOW YOU SEE WHY I LOVE YOU SO.

Fffff I really hope you won't judge my rendition of him too harshly ;__; Even if you didn't play him for all that terribly long, knowing that you did really makes me fear that I'll screw it up. I tend to be a little hard on myself... I feel like things are going all right so far, though, so perhaps I'll try to have faith in my abilities.

That said, though, the fact that you liked him enough to play him makes me absolutely freaking delighted! He deserves the love, and I will do my very best to live up to your expectations as his mun for as long as he is here, which will hopefully be a very long time. <3

I'm sorry I picked a character from a canon you're unfamiliar with but I watched the movie when it came out like 3 years ago and loved him... then I thought to watch it again recently and basically died from how cute he was a second time over. I think you'll like him, unless you like really hate sweet little cowardly characters who are nice to everybody and have pitiable backstories. (Maybe somebody out there hates that? I don't know, it's sure not me though)

ANYWAY I am having a blast here even though I've only been here for a couple of days, and it's more likely than not that I will app a second character that comes from a fandom you're more familiar with. If you do feel compelled to watch 9 though, it's a great film if you ask me-- though it's darker than one might assume at a glance. Though you can probably tell that much by the fact that Five dies... and he's not the only one who does. B(

I will tag the crap out of Sirius as soon as I can, believe you me. You cannot escape my love. <3
