Hey, this is Kate. Just wanted to put up a little notice since I have been failing so hard. I am currently sick my poor plurk friends have seen my complaints. Like, really, all I want to do is lay in my bed and watch shows and moan. Which is making me glacially slow to the point where I'm not even tagging into the plot and ugh. Hope you guys want all the backtags.

 I suppose this isn't really a surprise to anyone.

But I think it's time I dropped Shiki, and thus, out of the game.

You guys are all amazing, amazing human beings, and this has been nearly two of the best years of my internet life.

But the fact is that between the play that I'm madly, madly editing before it goes up in the fall, the novel that I'll be starting with the school department soon, and work in general... I just don't have the time to dedicate to Paradisa like you guys deserve. By this point I'm just kind of character squatting, and that's not fair or right. I had hoped that Shiki's loss would be a great hurrah for me in terms of activity, but it was taking so much time and planning that I just couldn't fit it in to my schedule... and then I had hoped to at least hold out to my/Shiki's birthday tomorrow and see what happens, but I realized that, because I'm at Otakon, being able to play that just isn't going to happen, so it's time for me to just recognize where I am and bow out.

I'm going to miss you all so, so much, and if I get lucky and have more time later, this is the first place I'll come back to!

But for now, I need to focus on what's going on in my real life.

Hey everyone, it's Christina with some quick things.

1] After this plot, Faith is going to be canon updated to post the Season 2 Angel premiere. Angel will have just visited her in prison and she'll go to sleep that night in prison and "wake up" back in the castle. I think this'll balance her out a bit and let her realize that she is capable of becoming the person a lot of people here in the castle tell her she will become. She might not like it at first, but it's all part of the process. Currently she is a townie at that resort town, so feel free to bug her happy, cheery self.

Hey, hey! What’s up Paradisa? :D

I have returned from my month in Japan, extremely jetlagged but pleased. I’m super excited to start RPing again, but first I have some rl things to catch up on.

Soooo while I’m going to slowly start tagging again, I’m extending Dairine’s loss to after the family getaway. (It’s almost over anyway.) For the plot, WizPod Dairine and Apple Spot will be turned into regular tech versions of themselves. Which Tony Stark gets to keep, because it's not a vacation with Papa Stark without ample amounts of technology.

Anyway, it's great to be back! Expect a journal entry from Dairine sometime this weekend.

(Sorry, I should have posted this sooner. I keep being thwarted by inopportune naps. )

GLaDOS and Wheatley's Vow Renewal Ceremony!

Hey, everyone! I figured it would be a good idea to throw this up before we put up the actual post, but yes: Wheatley decided it would be a great idea to renew his and GLaDOS' wedding vows. In front of everyone. (Because this family reunion plot has their brains scrambled. Expect them to both freak out and deny everything afterwards ....... >_>;)

So essentially, it'll be a public ceremony, although pretty informal since it's just a renewal and not the whole marriage shebang: there's going to be a section at the beginning reserved for the actual deed, and then sections put up for the after-party-gathering-thing of sorts; the food, the dancing, etc.!

I realize this might be short-notice since we'll be posting it sometime today, so I suppose a huge turnout won't be happening. But feel free to tag into the party; drop by, anything! Even back-tagging is totally welcomed by me and Wheatley-mun. :')

Hey there, Paradisites!

Sorry these posts are so late in going up - I've just been feeling mentally thrashed after work. Regardless of that, here is the last open post that's going up, though people are free to backdate posts and keep tagging the old open posts, of course.

At midnight, the magical coach will turn back into a pumpkin characters will wake up restored to normal, back in Paradisa, with all of the family pictures they took on this last day staying with them as mementos. Characters will wake up in their rooms.

People have been asking me about books, Onceler's thneeds, and other small mementos that characters might have picked up in town or at the resort, and whether they'll be returning with characters. In response, because these are such small items, I think they should be fine! Most of these items aren't dazzlingly special or unique anyway, except for memories that might be attached to them.

The characters on the cruise will be returning to Paradisa as well, of course, probably with deeper tans and a great appreciation for the wonderful wildlife of the Galapagos. We can only hope?!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the plot, anyway ♥ I hope you guys had fun. If there's anything anyone would like to address in closing, feel free to bring it up here, via pm, or I have a screened anon-enabled contact post on my journal, which also has ip logging turned off if you'd like to keep things more private.

Hey! This is Rose coming to inform you that this lovely man is due for another update and a loss change! In case you're one of three people who doesn't know what happens in Captain America I will cut spoilers. Now last time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.....

Recap/Spoiler free version of what's going on: Steve is moving to the middle of Captain America: the First Avenger. He has become Captain America officially. He is regaining Bucky's image and losing his tolerance to alcohol in exchange. Steve will be very happy about the first one. He will be knocked out at the end of the family plot in some manner I haven't decided yet and won't be up until next week.
