Hello Paradisa! Goku-mun here, bringing in another troubled kid with a subdued berserk monster inside!

This is Senri, a boy of 15-17 from certain 10-volume manga called +Anima. He is a kimunkle, a people very similar to Native Americans - and a +Anima, meaning he has an animal spirit fused with him. Senri's animal is a bear... unfortunately the bear spirit he fused with was crazy =/

After a great deal of trauma in his childhood, this teen suffers from amnesia and is unable to create any new memories. He'll forget people he met yesterday! Fortunately he has a trick to remembering - putting flowers and mementos of people he meets in an old book. Unfortunately, I let that be his loss, and he has to start all over again.

...yes, he's coming to Paradisa with no memories of his friends or past. I am mean.

Adding to this, he has shut off all his emotions due to both trauma and crazy bear inside, and thus rarely speaks and lives in a zoned-out world of his own. But if you manage to make him remember you, there is no more loyal friend than this oddball nature-child.

 Hello, everyone!

So, as anyone who has any kind of thread going on with me knows, my activity has been kind of seriously awful recently. I thought it would be easier once I got back to school and had a regular schedule and stable internet, but my RP drive has just been zilch recently.

Because of that, I'm going to go on hiatus with Shiki for about two weeks... I'll probably come back on the 5th, so I'm back in time for Valentine's Day shenanigans!

If you have any threads with Shiki going on, I'm not personally going to drop them, and I'll just come back to them then, unless you'd rather just leave it. I know that I have a tendency to backtag forever, after all!  XD

Here's the important part, though: For this hiatus of mine, Shiki is going to go on her first proper loss! Not a oh-crap-I-need-to-come-up-with-some-excuse-for-why-she-wasn't-paying-attention-to-castle-affairs-while-I'm-on-my-first-hiatus kind of loss, but a real, bona fide loss!

So, while I'm gone, Shiki will become a life size doll of herself. She will look just like herself, she'll even be able to stand upright if you balance her properly, but if you actually examine her... she'll be a doll.

The extra bit to that? She'll be a doll, but she'll still see and hear everything going on around her. She won't be able to do anything about it, but she'll still know what's going on around her.

To that end, if anyone wants to have possession of Shiki while I'm gone, to look after her or get up to other kinds of shenanigans with her doll self, that would be hilarious and awesome. Please let me know if you want to have her, and what you want to do with her, but that's just for my own reference in playing her afterwards... comment here if you want to play with the Shiki Misaki doll!

And, aside from that... I am now on hiatus! I will see all of you lovely people in about two weeks~

For the next five days, Paradisa will be celebrating a holiday that is not only fun and recreational, but promotes respect and encourages others to learn more about the historical figures of residents' home worlds.

Welcome to the Lunar Festival!

What is the Lunar Festival?
The Lunar Festival is an event that takes place on Azeroth every year. It is a time reserved for paying respect and honoring great heroes of the past. The festival is held by druids and everyone is welcomed to celebrate the holiday.

Over 10,000 years ago, an evil force known as the Burning Legion attempted to invade Azeroth. Many were called to fight, and together they defeated the Legion, driving them out of the world.

It is those heroes that stood against the Legion that are honored during the Lunar Festival. Their spirits can be found all around the world, and those that pay respects are often given tokens of gratitude in return.

Lunar Festival usually coincides with the Chinese New Year, which the Warcraft holiday is loosely based on.


How is Paradisa celebrating Lunar Festival?
In Paradisa's celebration, heroes of several different worlds will be honored. Each day, two "Elders" will pay a visit to the castle out in the courtyard.

In addition, a great celebration will take place in the town for the duration of the event. Vendors will sell fireworks, foods and finery of all kinds. The castle and town will be decorated for the event as well.

Anyone currently threading with me has probably noticed that I've been frustratingly slow for about the past week, and unfortunately that's about to get a bit worse. I'm not feeling well at all, due to some new medication, and combined with school it's really putting a damper on my RP activity. I'm going to go ahead and declare a hiatus from January 25th - February 9th, to get me through my first round of exams while getting used to the new drugs. I'll still be backtagging when I feel like it, but if you find yourself waiting four or five days for a tag, this is why.

Affects Alex, Hunny petitfours, Nico necrologio, and Rose fluthlu.
