encourageHARVEY DENT:
On trial for aggravated assault of townsfolk, assault, abduction, and mentual traumatization, and attempted murder of Uru Takamura, the attempted murder of Damian Wayne, and escaping from prison.
Included in packet: Report filed when Mr. Dent was brought in to prison most recently by Batwoman. Recent report on questioning of Uru Takamura in regards to her abduction and assault. A copy of the visiting log for those seeing Harvey Dent during his incarceration. Copies of other reports filed on Harvey Dent. Injury report from Harvey's readmission into prison. Injury report (old) on Uru. (See: scars.)
Punishment: To be decided by the characters serving on jury. I am asking for some blind projection. Suggestions for a more "mild" resolution that Sakura will make include advising placing Harvey into psychiatric care under Dr. Sweets, restricting him to the castle grounds, and entering him into a tracking database to be created and maintained with all convicted criminals listed within it. (Creepy GPS-like tracking systems are go. May be reversible.)
Harsher sentencing is more than possible. More lenient as well. It will be fairly clear Harvey Dent/Two-Face was responsible for these crimes, possibly more. It may also be apparent during the trial that each personality holds and acts as a separate person unto themselves. Harvey Dent attempted to assist Uru in escaping. Harvey Dent shows remorse -- Two-Face does not. Two-Face is openly antagonistic, but definitely not unintelligent.
Jury, please deliberate in comments. That means Tavros, Stocking, Adachi, Alleyne, and Cloud. I'll have a thread for you folks to ask questions about details on the events, so that I may flesh them out for you and better give you and your characters the information they need.
Trial proceedings will open tomorrow; the decision on punishment must be made before tomorrow night, OOCly. Icly in game timeline it also will have happened tomorrow, while the actual threading is encouraged to continue for as long as people are enjoying themselves.
