Suppppp Paradisa
Do you know that...
1. I have not done a loss for Damian in over a year?
2. Christina has never done a loss for Mindy alone?
We decided to give our kidlets a go on the Loss-go-Round by reprising Damian's 666 loss with a twist: Mindy's coming, too. Given that they are both of the street-level superhero persuasion, are both preteen [ex-]assassins, both like stabbing things and both have parental issues coming out of every pore, they make a fun match. Also, their creators, Morrison and Millar, hate each others' guts, making this not only a fun match, but a fun match forged in the fires of competition in an incredibly difficult industry.
So to recap: last time Damian did the 666 loss, he turned into his future self: he was twenty-four years old, addicted to vicodin, acting all alone as Batman in a worse-than-ever Gotham city, and rigging up bombs and shit as a self-defense system. Also, he sold his soul to the devil. He had problems, man. Problems with capital letters.
Anyway, since then, canon has skipped merrily on a different path, meaning the 666 future is in limbo -- or at least big parts of it would be changed by the fact that, uh, daddy came back to life, Dick didn't die [yet], and Damian DIDN'T sell his soul to the devil.
So this is where Mindy comes in: she's getting her own 666'd future to match. She and Damian work together as Miss Murder and Batman. They met when they were much younger, and though they didn't exactly grow up side-by-side, they certainly have fought side-by-side for a long time. They both know what's at stake in this job, and they both have their hang-ups and problems and idiosyncrasies.
Because we're basically dicking with timelines and universes, it should become a little obvious that the castle is taking creative liberties with their memories -- technically speaking, they are both from different universes, Damian will remember his last round at Paradisa, and maybe even remember his brief cameo in the mindscape plot a few weeks back.
But either way they're both kinda nuts and violent and stuff B)
Awww yeah.
TL;DR: your resident bratty vigilante kids are turning into your resident asshole vigilante adults for a week.
Also after this, Clark is either going All-Star or Bumbling Reporter (idk which yet) and then after that Damian is becoming an adorable babby. I haven't done a loss in like... a year plus, guys. I am making up for lost time!!
