Hey there, Paradisa. I'm Kally and some of you may or may not remember me from when I was here a couple months ago with my Nura Nal muse, before I had to drop due to rl reasons. But I'm much more organized now, and my schedule isn't as hectic as it once was.

I've said that I'd app Laurie here for a while before, and now, I make good on my word. I introduce Laurie Collins, the young student of Academy X, with the ability to influence pheromones of those around her. She's incredibly shy...although she's slowly growing out of that phase and becoming more confident.

I'm bringing her in before her death, and about right after the team camping trip that was organized due to team problems. She will arrive very much alive...and without her memories of Josh Foley, her first boyfriend, and her first ex-boyfriend. That's her loss. I am so evil.

I hope you guys will have as much fun with that as I will.

PS. She's from Marvel Comics.

Hello ev'rybodyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Ang here, pulling a good old-fashioned character swap, just in time for the Dreaded Gymboree Plot. In case you don't know, this here is Dr. Ray Stantz, buster of ghosts, and he'll be coming to Para from sometime after the second movie. His loss is his ability to photograph anything or anyone relevant to supernatural research.

He's basically a giant, over-nostalgic child in a klutzy derp engineer's body, so he eats up CR like junk food. I look forward to letting him meet everyone!


Unfortunately, this also means I have to make room, so I'm going to be sending someone I was struggling with for a while now, home. Eunice Bloom will be leaving Paradisa at the end of the month, just in time to go rescue her boys for St. Patrick's Day. She had a good run of a year or so, but I was losing her spark, and she was starting to not be as good a fit for the game as I thought she'd be. I'll finish out all of the threads I still have with her, and if people want, I can put up one more post for people to "say goodbye", as it were.

There once was a tale about a man who could turn invisible. Well, I thought it was only a story... until it happened to me.

'Sup, guys. Laurel here, bringing in one (1) Darien Fawkes. Thief, Conman, Molester of the Elderly (IT WAS CPR, MAN) and biologically engineered Invisible Man.

That's right, ladies and gents, he can turn invisible. The problem is, if he doesn't get regular doses of Counter Agent he kinda has a bit of a problem... as in, major headaches that end up with him turning into a  psychopath. So let's hope he can figure out a way to fix that problem, because he sure as hell doesn't know how to make it himself.

So, bullet points of what the boy can do:

* Turn all, or parts of himself invisible.
* Turn items, or other people invisible.
* When his eyes are invisible he sees another spectrum of light, so he can see lasers and whatnot.
* Avoid heat sensors, since the Quick Silver makes him extremely cold.
* Freeze things by touching them.
* Pick locks, break into safes and other thieving-oriented things.

That being said, he's coming from Season 2 episode 15, A Sense of Community. His loss will be a tough on him, I'm sad to say. He's incredibly fond of quotes, especially philosophical ones. He uses them whenever possible, and is quite proud of his ability to identify the speaker of any given quote. The problem is... he remembers all those quotes, but not who said them. This is going to result in a lot of quotes being identified as being said by "some old guy" or "a weird chick."

He joins Edward, Eleven, Gosalyn, Nora and Smecker to bring my total back up to six. His intro is going up shortly and I'll be catching up on tags throughout the day.

First of all, sorry for my slow tagging recently. I have a giant deadline looming up at me, and it's sort of hit me in the face...so, for the next week or so, I'm going to go on hiatus.

Once the big project is done your favourite non-evil human death knight will be back, refreshed and ready. Until then, he'll be lurking in the woods looking for the perfect place to build his log cabin no really. I will catch up on tags when I can, and I am always happy to backtag any plottings that you want Thassarian involved in.

starting the groundwork ] [ art gallery

Recently, my characters have been getting to know a lot more artistic types in the castle. Mindy, Dave, Hardison, Neal, Jilly, Nora, Molotov (that picture of Brock counts)... Basically, there are a LOT of artistic types in the castle and even more, I'm sure, that my characters haven't met yet.

Jo is really good friends with Jilly and there has been talk, in the past, about getting her an art gallery in the city. Not something just for Jilly, but for all the artists to use. While living in the city after the whole 'Isis: Death of Sam' thing Jo has been looking for a bigger place to stay.

Apparently, 99% of the houses in the city of Paradisa aren't freestanding, but instead attached to a business front. So, you either find a business and live behind/upstairs or build your own house. Jo is going the business route, with an art gallery. This is going to be a surprise for Jilly, so she'll need help from other people. I'm just going to provide a list of things that will need to be done, and if you have a character that would be good for that let me know. That way I know how many of Jo's friends she needs to con into doing things vs. asking people in the castle for help.
