... BOOBS IS A TERRIBLE PERSON. though this isn't actually news to some people.

And Bruce is going on his second loss. He's getting de-aged. To five days before his eighth birthday. AKA THE WORST DAY EVER. He'll be staying a kid for a week-ish, though. :3

The loss'll probably start tomorrow, (technically today as it's past midnight, but oh well) post-wise, depending on how his Robins (henceforth known as Robin Redbird and Robin Greenwing) do the whole "UH... THE BOSS JUST TURNED INTO A KID," thing. And Robin Greenwing is currently indisposed for the night, so. TOMORROW, TOMORROW~ I LOVE YA, TOMORROW. YOU'RE ONLY A DAY AWAY.

And everyone should clearly come bother the little curious seven year old. And then have their ears talked off about what he's learning. And be asked if they know how to play chess because he really wants to learn, and can they get that really big book with no pictures from that shelf in the library? It looks interesting!

Just plz to not be pinching his cheeks. Even if they are cute an pinchable.

OH GOD I MISSED YOU GUYS SOB. In my hiatus I: A) Survived my Last Finals Week, B) Graduated with my Bachelor's in COMIC BOOKS(srsly) and then took off to Paris, where I have frozen my ass off. Sob. I was going to wait until I came back to come off Hiatus, BUT I LOVE YOU GUYS TOO MUCH, aaaand. It's this one's birthday. He lived to thirteen! Yaaaay!

Anyhow, to new folks: HI, I'M LILLY. I PLAY ONE(1) TRAGIC PYGMY EMO (colorlesschild) AND A CRAZY VAMPIRE LADY (why_so_mean).

I should have posted this a few days ago but I have to take a semi-hiatus/slowiatus(or however you spell it). Sadly even though I'm not in school I have to deal with the joy of finals. By which case I mean working more so my managers can all go study and take their finals with the hope of passing. Plus I'm getting sick so yes. Sorry for being so slow and hopefully I'll be back completely by...end of December. And this only affects this girl here. I promise I'll get my tags to you guys caught up.

Because Felix is a very ambitious muse, he has called a mass meeting of all magic-users in the castle. Because he was around for that whole Expedition business, he has filtered the announcement to hopefully exclude certain witches that may use this information against us, but it otherwise open for all wizards, witches, healers, mages, sorcerers, magical creatures, or whatever else qualifies. If you have magic, he wants to speak to you. Additionally, if your character isn't a magic user, but knows enough about it, you are welcome as well. The end goals are outlined in the post, but in general we're looking for some magical cooperation. Maybe even a decent magic lab around here for once?

So please, come tag in, join in some magic geekery, get some new CR, tell him he's annoying. Whatever.

Midnight rolls around, starting Sunday, and the castle moves into the first act of its Christmas ballet.

Glittering white flecks of snow fall, underneath the blue moon, all around the castle. The flurries are so thick that surely the residents will be snowed in by morning, but there's a charming warmth to it all. The ghosts serve hot chocolate, hot spiced cider and fresh-baked cookies, while gusts of glittering winds race around the castle, leaving decorations wherever they go. Some residents sleep through it. Others stay up to enjoy the treats and watch as the castle decorates itself, both inside and out.

It appears, early-on, that the theme is a classic greeting-card, Victorian Christmas. In Santa Claus' stead, it's Father Christmas. Fir trees are decorated with ribbons, real candles that magically cannot burn, strings of popcorn and candy, and handmade porcelain dolls perched in the branches. Real holly decorates doorways and banisters. Turtledoves* freely flutter around the castle.

On the grounds, ghosts in smart coats and top-hats are always waiting with one-horse open sleighs, and old-fashioned toboggans are leant against the castle's walls, just waiting to be taken down the snowy hills.

And residents are expected to fit the scene, too –– all will find that their wardrobes have been swapped out in favour of Victorian clothing. Women are decked out in elegant laces and petticoats, men are strapping in long coats and vests. The castle doesn't seem to have picked a particular decade, but given the outfits, it seems to have at least decided on an era! If residents aren't interested, they'd best find a seamstress or get used to running around in their underwear!
