I am Sophie/not_unwise and I am brand new in Paradisa, here to double the amount of Dicks in the game.

So here comes another Dick Grayson, aka Robin, who is 13 and from the same beautiful AU that Carrie Kelly comes from. That thing written by Frank Miller that has no timeline? Yes, this.



So I'm playing that kid on the left! For context, his parents were shot right next to him an hour before that scene, and he's been kidnapped by Batman and drugged out of his minds.

Batman's really nice, uh? ...well, no. This version of Batman is abusive and Dick has spent the first couple of weeks after his parents' death locked in a cave. Batman also sometimes hits him, punches him, or throws him into walls! But Dick is oblivious to it all and thinks it's all his fault and Batman is clearly awesome.

Anyone who doesn't know that name :( I weep for you, but just in case the icon was a tip off HE'S THE SPECTACULAR/AMAZING/WHATEVER OTHER ADJECTIVE PEOPLE FEEL LIKE TACKING ON HIS NAME THAT PARTICULAR DAY SPIDER-MAN!! Your friendly, neighborhood wall-crawler :) Webhead... Web slinger... I'll stop now.

Heeeeeere's the deal though. Peter Parker has literal decades of canon. And even though I happen to be the same idiot who took up a certain beardy DC character whose had a bit of a run time himself, I think... two is probably too many. What does that mean? That means I'm a cop-out bum and I took up the Ultimate Universe version of Peter Parker. For those of you who know it, THAT'S RIGHT, this is 16 year old, still very much new to the super hero world, still very much in high school Peter.

And for the other blah blah blah, lost his spidey-sense, is before certain giant waves of water came rolling into certain cities, but not much before, will be happy to start annoying the living shit out of people sometime tomorrow when it's not two in the morning, etc...

Look at me! Already being IC by not shutting the hell up. Ahahahahaaaaaaaa. :(

Basically, witches in Sera's world are freaks of nature -- there are only about fifty-ish of them on the planet at any time. When one witch dies, the very next baby is born a witch. Genetics, heredity, etc has nothing to do with it. So it's like she won the lottery! The being effed-up lottery. H-hooray?

I have started her Wiki page here, and also, you can read the first two volumes of her comic for free right here.

I will intro her uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh some point very soon.

horror plot planning: part 2

Greetings, ladies and manly men of Paradisa! Mako here again with some more details for you on the upcoming horror plot, scheduled to begin Thursday, July 22nd.

You've probably guessed by now, that yes - it is Berserk themed.

Here is a vague outline of events & some details in order to give you some idea of what to expect and give you some time to plan if you need to.

( tl;dr )

There will be a lot going on this week - and a lot of opportunities for characters to get in on the action, particularly badass normals who will thrive in an environment where they can really show off their skills when the need arises. ...And trust me, it will.

There will also be chances for villains and the more evilly inclined to do their bad thang. Things will be chaotic; I hope some of you take advantage of this! Truly, I am most excited to see where you all take this and run with it.

As usual, if you have any comments/concerns/suggestions/feedback, I would more than love to hear it.

1. A nickname of a girl who gets sparkly hair.
2. The derp roleplayer who plays the girl who has sparkly hair and loves Pikachu, Pokémon, and all that jizz.

h-hi this is Hati again, introducing her third character. (WHAT ALREADY? yeah. already. blame Sophie, everything ever is her fault.) This time I bring with me one little speedster of the DCU fame, Wally West as Kid Flash! He's from right after Teen Titans: Year One. Which is up on this journal. Go read it, it's adorable.

I will still be popping on to continue current threads (though they might be slow), but be forewarned; since I thought it would be a great idea to app four book characters, this could take a good chunk of time.

Fail apologies and a canon bump

Hello peeps!

Firstly I just wanted to apologize for being a fail tagger. The onboard network card on my computer committed seppuku about a week ago, and after several days of tearing my hair out trying to fix it I have up and ordered a new network card, which should be in tomorrow. In the meantime I've been on my husband's shitty computer with dodgy internet, so I really haven't been able to tag or keep up with posts. I'm so sorry! If no one is averse to backtagging I'll get on it and soon as my computer is back on the interwebs and we can tie up loose ends.

This really only affects Mohinder, Sweets, Kutner, Karen, and Peter, I think.

Also! Sometime this week Rory will be getting a mod-approved canon quick-bump, to the end of Series 5, Episode 12 (The Pandorica Opens). The thing is, I need a volunteer to rough Rory up: hurt him (accidentally or on purpose), zonk him out, put him under a spell, whatever. He just needs to be unconscious for about a day so his brain can take a little vacation and come back all full of horrific knowledge (and a body change) from back home. Here's what his deal is:

Rory's current canon point is just post episode 6 (Vampires of Venice), so he's just joined the TARDIS crew on invitation from Amy and the Doctor. So he's getting 6 episodes of new canon stuffed into his brain, and it's not pretty. Here's the Reader's Digest version (I hope):

So, yeah, lots of wangst. Real Rory is still dead, and he's just a plastic replica. And since he's a plastic robot with a gun in his hand at the canon point he's being bumped to, he'll now be a plastic robot with a gun in his hand in Paradisa. Blimey!

So uh ... yeah. I type too damn much. Any volunteers to knock Rory out?

Cross Marian Debt Fund: Weeks 91 &92

Hey everyone! It's Sunday so it's time for the ninety-first and ninety-second double edition of the Cross Marian Debt Fund mini-game!

For those who need a reminder, or are looking at this post like I just said disco suits are fashionable again, the information can be found here!

Now for the past two weeks, things seemed very active on the TRUMP and FAIL front. Lots of people both achieved TRUMPS and many achieved FAILS as well. Two notable occurrences was Colette who earned TRUMPS on both weeks while Django earned a TRUMP one week, and a FAIL the next - ouch. The rest of the TRUMPS went out to Allen and Jo while Cloud achieved the other fail. Nice guys. Also this week was the first Host Club thus the first contribution as that. And also since people were only in Lumpy space for three days? You managed to get a pass on not missing out on one of the weeks this time.

As for Battle of the Bars, it seems like in the first week Team Deathmatch finally scored itself a win while Team Bonsai fell horribly into last place. However, perhaps Team Bonsai joined forces with Team Caritas and became second place the following week while Team Caritas won the victory, leaving poor Team Wildkat suffering in last place. Better luck next time Team Wildkat!
