Ah, Valentines Day, a time to love and be loved. Or be single and alone. Whichever floats your boat, really. As always, on the 14th, the castle will decorate itself for the occasion, going all out. The walls will become pink, there will be obnoxious heart shaped balloons everywhere , pink streamers, rose petals: the works. There will also be romantic violin music always in the background. Where did that even come from?

On the 14th of February, all residents will receive a heart shaped box full of chocolates and a a sad little cake. These have magical properties, which kick in when a resident eats them, with varying effects:

ღ Hazelnut – Make them serenade someone
ღ Caramel – Make them propose to someone
ღ Strawberry crème – Make them kiss the first person they see
ღ Ginger – Make them fall in love with someone
ღ Mint – Make them ask someone out on a date
ღ Orange crème – Make them spout corny pick up lines
ღ Double chocolate – Make them admit their true feelings to people (romantic or otherwise)

ღ A slice of Single Awareness Day cake - Makes them shun all romantic advancements and obsessively collect either live animals (bonus points if they're cats) or teddy bears

Characters eat as many or as few chocolates as they want, so they don’t have to pick just ONE effect if they want to play more. No matter how many are eaten, the cake and chocolates mysteriously replenish themselves. The effects will last until the 16th of February.

Crowley (onlyanapple) - Will be actively finding ways to drug people with said treats. So if you have a character who won't eat, castle given food willingly and still want to play. He will find a way.
Maladict (mal_addict) - She's taken but hey still up for whatever.
The Once-ler (whichwayyoulean) - Still on his loss so he won't have a complete meltdown about this sort of thing for once. Yay?

Bunnymund is avoiding this like you wouldn't believe because it's Not His Holiday and also he's a freaking rabbit. Every day is Single Awareness Day to him anyway.

Merlin kingsgambit will be a broody broodster in his room and won't touch it unless someone makes him again, alas. But he's also likely to not take kindly to it so just a warning...however again if you want to sick someone on him feel free to.

Tesla is so very taken by Maladict, but while he might be wary of random chocolates, he might be gullible enough to be tricked into eating some. ANYTHING, REALLY.

Garry is still getting over Rapunzel, so I might not have him eat the ginger one (it'll be painful emotionally for him afterwards), but he'll definitely be eating chocolates and/or cake, because he does kind of like sweets and hasn't been here long enough to know that stuff given to you is BAD NEWS.
