PARADISA OOC

It's October, Paradisa. Breathe in that cool autumn air and taste the season. Taste ripen fruit and spices. Taste loamy earth and spiderwebs. Taste stale cotton candy and caramel corn. Taste cold shadows. Taste death.

On the early morning of the 26th, a strange carnival will roll up and set up on the grounds between the town and the castle. In many ways it will be just any carnival. A midway filled with games, a ferris wheel, a petting zoo. But in darker corners are freakshows, a broken merry-go-round, and the presence of the carnvial's leader, the enigmatic Mr. Dark.

Be careful, they may charge more than than the price of a ticket here. For Mr. Dark holds sway over these creatures, and when the calliope music churns to life in the dead of night, promising eternity, he might very well add you to his collection.

This plot will consist of TWO open logs. The first will go up on the 26th and encompass the first four days. You may experience the carnival more or less as normal during the day, or come down and see what the night makes of it. The second log will be for the last day, where characters will break Mr. Dark's hold on his captives. Like a lesser version of the castle, the carnival feeds only on despair and fear, and love and happiness will turn him away. Alternatively, observant characters will notice that the music pulling people here comes from the merry-go-round, and disabling that will do the same. Regardless, by Halloween the carnival will have been dissipated.

Additionally there are Optional plot sign-ups for characters who wish to be ensnared by the carnival and briefly become part of it's ranks. Due to game size, this should be no more than THREE characters total.
