Fret no more, on the morning of April 15 residents may bump into one of seven painted elephants roaming the halls and occasionally breaking down doors to find those hiding in their rooms. The animals will spray anyone they see using water from their trunks, which never runs out and will wash away the stains.

Whether affected or not, everyone will also find water guns in random places near them, all loaded up for action. Water from these inexhaustible guns will clean the taint too, so pick up those soakers and get to work!

Once the curse starts, unlucky residents will begin to discover stains spreading on themselves: dirt smudges on one's face, lipstick smears on one's lips, ink spots or the ol' reliable blood on one's hands. Whatever it may be, they mark something the person regrets or feels guilty or ashamed of, anything they mean to hide.

Skeletons in the closet now bared for all the world to see.

The taint, like guilt, won't wash away and will somehow seep through whatever is covering it. And those whom guilt stains, it equals.
