Today is Dairine’s birthday! Yaaaay! How exciting! Except she’s too preoccupied with the Creepy Cat plot to announce it. :c

But the castle does not want anyone to forget, so tomorrow it's going to give her a reminder! She's going to wake up older... much older. Dairine will be around her late-20s physically, though only 14 in reality. Cue awkward moments and frustration.

Wizardry is for life, so Dairine will still have Spot and her powers. Also, characters are free to hit on her if you'd like. Just expect her to shut that down faster than a speeding bullet. Yeah.

A post will go up tomorrow, after all the excitement. This loss will last Oct. 21-28, so she'll be back to normal in time for Halloween.

Yes! It's another Pony Loss! (Ponies everywhere!)

Sheena's going to be having her first second loss looking like a resident of that land of Equestria, which will last about a week. Actually, a little over a week since I'll be backdating.

She's been having a rough time after the nightmares, not really wanting to be who she is, and the adventure in Equestria helped her forget that for a couple of days, so why not let her continue it a little longer?

And maybe, just maybe, she'll follow some idiot's advice and have some fun in the meantime.

It's time for the loss I've wanted to put Felix on pretty much since I joined this game!

Starting now and ending on November 13th, which also happens to be his second Paraversary, Felix will get to be his 13 year old self, before his magic manifested and his master Malkar bought him from a brothel to train him in magic and basically beat how to be a gentleman into him.

Yeah.

There's some pretty major differences in his character that you may want to note:

And, as you may have noted, he's also a prostitute and has been so for a couple years. His past is about as dismal as you'd expect and loaded with material that people might find triggering. I'd like to encourage people to check out this permissions form and let me know if there is anything I should avoid.

Obviously, he won't remember Paradisa or any of his castle CR for the duration. I feel I should mention that, once this loss is over, Felix will be very unhappy. He hates people knowing about what he was and that his gentleman noble facade is just that. I'd like people to get closer to him, but on the short term he will at best ignore your character or at worst be a raging jerk to them. Because his coping mechanisms suck.

I totally forgot to post this. After the Equestria plot ended and everybody came back to the castle, Cloud didn't change back to his regular human self. He'll be stuck in his pony form until he makes a new friend, because you know, friendship is magic and yadda yadda. I hope it doesn't take too long.

Hopefully this loss will help him to get a bit more CR. Might be a bit hard befriending him in the beginning since he will be one cranky pony and so far he considers making friends with anyone a waste of time (everybody leaves!), but as soon as he starts considering this new person a friend, he'll change back.

So, as you may have noticed, Catelyn Stark has a hard time opening up to people. She tends to give vague, polite, surface answers and avoid talking about what she's actually thinking. This naturally results in her keeping most people at something of an arm's distance.

Well, the castle has decided that it is sick and tired of this! So she's going on what I like to call the "direct honest answer" loss. If you ask her something, she has to answer truthfully and can't weasel out of it. She can answer shortly, once she figures out why she suddenly feels compelled to talk, but she can't lie and she can't avoid the question.

I encourage people to take full advantage of this. IC start of loss will be put up later.

It's loss time for Twilight Sparkle.

As one can (possibly) tell from the icon, this loss will involve Twilight becoming a changeling! For those unfamiliar with My Little Pony lore, this means that she will becoming a unicorn with bug wings and holes in her legs. That's not too bad, right...?

Oh, right. She can change forms.... basically into anypony or anybody she meets or knows. Though that wouldn't be enough fun, so.... for the duration of this loss, she won't be able to control it, either! (Not that she could without training anyway, but hey. More fun to blame the loss for everything.) So she'll randomly become her friends, or maybe a mirror image of the person she's talking to...?

And that's not all! Changelings feed on love. Not hay, or grass, or even meat. Love. So when Twilight starts getting hungry, she's going to find out that she can't eat to make it go away... and she's going to have to find some love to eat. While the love from her friends to her might be enough to partially satiate it, she still might find herself turning into a character's loved one subconsciously. So she can potentially feed off of the person's love (not that she'd ever do that purposely.) Also, it makes for good drama.

At the end of the loss, she'll eventually lock herself away, then pass out from hunger. And at that point, her loss will end, and she'll also get a canonbump!

So Vicious and Gren have been in game awhile now, and it's finally time for their first loss!

They're going back in time a few years to when they were both serving together in the war on Titan - basically before everybody betrayed each other. As far as Vicious knows, Spike is still his best friend and his girlfriend is waiting for him back home, and Gren hasn't yet spent time in a military prison and still has his 100% male body.

I'll pause so we can all laugh awkwardly.

Neither of them will have any castle memories, and will basically start the loss as castle newbies. The loss itself will start today and last a week or so, because I'm good at being specific.

Starting tomorrow at some unfortunate hour, and lasting all day (and probably a bit more until the masquerade ends), Cloud will be on his most feared loss ever. He'll be wearing this pretty outfit ~~what a huge update from polygons huh?~~, any clothes he wears will be transforming into that, tiara, wig and everything. ~~He might also smell very nice... and he may or not be keeping his sword under his skirt... no i kid.~~

A favour though, it might not be incredibly obvious it's him when meeting in person, so your characters might recognize him or find something familiar about him, but it might take a moment to realize ~~she~~ he's no a new resident or something, Cloud, however, will deny everything (in a high pitched voice!) and flee before they do! ... It's better denying it than accepting that, yes, he's wearing a pretty dress! He was able to fool a bunch of guys in canon ~~and be prom queen~~, I'm pretty sure he can fool some of the guys (and girls!) here. Why doesn't he just stay in his room all day? Cause reasons.

Kevin Flynn is one of the brightest young software engineers at ENCOM - a few months laid off after having five of the games he developed stolen by the not-so-young, not-so-bright, but very, very sneaky Ed Dillinger.

Alan Bradley is developing a security program that watchdogs the Master Control Program as well as all the contact the ENCOM servers make with other servers.

Alan and Kevin don't exactly get along. Kevin is wild while Alan is a stickler for the rules. And among other things, Alan is still a little jealous of Kevin, who had dated Lora, Alan's girlfriend, previously.

But wait. Aren't Alan Bradley and Kevin Flynn best friends?

Not yet they aren't!

Alan and Kevin will be undergoing a loss! To them, the year is 1982, and they've not yet gone through the events of the Tron (1982) movie. As such, they haven't discovered how well they really do get along.

This loss will last for one week and will start tomorrow (9/12)!

So, guess who is having his first temporary loss ever in this castle?

That's right, your resident scaredy-cat purple-haired flamboyant man in a tattered coat, Garry. And this loss will bring back something he will pretty much freak out at forever. You see, Garry spent a little time in a strange art gallery in canon where paintings and sculptures came to life and tried to kill him. Kind of like Night in the Museum if it were a horror film. But the worst thing about that gallery, the one that will haunt his nightmares forever, in Garry's opinion, is this:

Yes. A green and really adorably cute bunny ornament.

Wait, what?

Well, don't be dissuaded by its appearance! For in that strange world of the art gallery, minds are messed with to the point where you can see something that it isn't, and what is a really cute ornament to some people is something infinitely more creepy. Say hi to the Blue Doll, everyone. It likes long walks on the beach, Garry, stalking Garry, and wanting Garry to be with it together...forever.

BASICALLY for the rest of the week, Garry will be stalked by one of these Blue Dolls from the art gallery he hates so much, which actually will not be seen moving! It'll just randomly appear near him with some words in paint on the wall next to it saying things like "TAKE ME" or "I have lots of friends, we'll have lots of fun together!" or "Come and play with me. :)"

Now, this is important for your characters and how they see this thing: children and people with incredibly innocent outlooks on life will see it as a cute bunny ornament. Adults and people who have really realistic views on life will see it as the abomination it is. Of course, if you want to do it for the hilarity, you could totally make your character see it as a bunny and wonder why the heck he's having a nervous breakdown over something so cute.

But yes, for the next week Felix will be this handsome bastard. I'll be making one concession to the standard animal loss, though. He'll still have his magic! Which means he can and will find ways to make his displeasure known and to generally troll all of you, outside of being an obnoxiously loud rooster.

Speaking of which he will be compelled to crow at sunrise. Every morning. Into the journal.

Hi Para! Since I've had a bit of lacking RP drive, it's time for Konoe's first loss.

He will revert to his cursed state, as in getting four odd tattoos on his arms and legs and having his fur turn pitch black.

At the same time, he'll be followed by four different-colored flames that keep harassing him, one at a time flowing into his mouth/ears/nose and changing his emotions drastically. They won't actually burn him (or anyone else), though... because they're spirit forms of devils.

The red flame is the devil Razel, symbolizing rage and wrath. Konoe will be a rather pissy cat when under the influence of this flame. Watch out for claws!

The green flame is the devil Froud, symbolizing a twisted and insane version of joy. Under his influence, Konoe will be a creepy, giggling cat that loves seeing people suffer.

The yellow flame is the devil Verg, symbolizing decadent pleasure. Konoe will be rather overheated when molested by this flame. (However, if you interact with him, please tell me if you don't want him to be affected by this flame.)

The last flame is blue and is a gentler devil than the rest - Kaltz, the embodiment of grief and sorrow. Nevertheless, it means one sad kitty.

If they flames are messed with in any magical means, they'll turn into snakes for a moment, hissing creepily and stunning Konoe until they manage to crawl into his mouth and reform as flames again.

...Lamento is a weird, weird game. But oh so good. =D

Much like Kayla has already announced, Hinata will also be going on a loss...to her (canon) alternate self for a week.

Normally, Hinata is shy, soft-spoken, lacking in confidence, and is just...generally a nice person who avoids confrontation. Her alternate self, however... This Hinata oozes confidence and has no issues flaunting her body, and she has no qualms about letting you know exactly what she thinks of you. And being aggressive about it, too. Girl wants to fight. Enjoy all the shaking and yelling for looking at her the wrong way or messing with her friends (or being female and bringing up Naruto...).

Like Ino, she will remember all her CR and time spent here, thinking this is how she has always acted. She's likely going to demand to know who switched her wardrobe with Ino's, though.

Also an apology to everyone waiting on tags from me. The first couple weeks of this month have been absolutely crazy at work. I'm getting to them tonight, though! So sorry about the very long wait.

Hey everyone, Katie here, and as some of you know, for a while now Megs and I have planned a loss for Lilah and Fred where they think they're the best of friends. Which...should be interesting as they normally don't like each other, at all. (in fact, the gifingI'm using is of Lilah canonly dressing up as Fred and mocking her to Wesley...) Needless to say, for those who know them, this should be a little strange. Or very strange.

It'll last a week, from August 4-Aug 11. And then at the end of the loss, Lilah will be knocking herself out (on accident) and being canon updated to later in season 4 of Angel, after the episode "Haebeas Corpus."

We plan on doing some open logs and joint posts for this loss, so all their CR can have as much fun as possible with this. If you have any questions, feel free to send them my way at @superkappa on plurk.

Hey, all. Leon here, just sliding in to say that as of this post, Clint is now out for a week. He'll be enjoying the cruise from the comfort of the ship's medical cabin.

When he wakes up, he will have gone through a full game reset, meaning that all of his Paradisa memories will be gone!

But that's not all! The week after he wakes up, he'll be going on a full amnesia loss. He won't know who he is, where he is, or even what his name is. When it's over with, his canon memories will be restored (barring his loss, of course), and all he'll remember of the castle is that one week.

I'm still on hiatus due to this being my 5-on rotation at work, and my hiatus will be ending at the end of this month, but this is going to be my catch-up week. If there's anything that I need to tag into, or a backtag that I've missed and you still want to continue, Plurk me at

Ok so Moriarty has been at Paradisa since late February and has yet to suffer a temporary loss of any kind...until now.

Meet Richard Brook. Richard is the persona Jim adopted to help discredit Sherlock and ruin his reputation. As far as the public knew Mr Brook is a kind, loving and gentle storyteller who just wanted to tell stories to children and make them happy. He also only pretended to be Jim Moriarty and committed dastardly crimes to help Sherlock look awesome, and because he was struggling for work.

This time Rich will be a little more alive.

Starting Monday and lasting a week (Or two depending upon how hilarious I think it is.) Moriarty will actually think he is the persona he created, that he's not a demented crime boss with a fixation on Sherlock, and is instead a lovely, out of work kid's TV presenter.

He will also believe he's been staying at his friend Kitty's house and will slightly freak when he first wakes up.

Any enemies of Moriarty's feel free to mess with him. Any allies of his feel free to be very confused.

Hey, so who wants to knock that smug grin off this jerk's face? He's been staying mostly under the radar since his prison break, and it's about time someone beat him up proper for being so disrespectful. With the slow dwindling of his close CR and no longer being under Pharos' watchful eye, he's going to start to get careless.

If you have a character with a reason and enough power to attack/try to capture Joshua, and who is not friends with Sakura Haruno (or who is willing to strike her even if they are), comment here! We really need a volunteer. This is not going to involve any deaths or serious maiming, and would need to end with Joshua escaping with Sakura (at least for now).

( Because this nonsense is going to lead to a joint loss... )

Kate is hitting her two year mark soon and I've mentioned it forever ago on Plurk, I've decided to do a week long loss with her! And yes, it's a kid loss because I've sort of wanted to do this forever. :'(

HOWEVER!!

Instead of the usual "Oh my god, where am I?!" I've gone with a bit of a twist for this loss; Kate will just think she's been here for nearly two years. Some of her CR will be remembered differently for the sake of not having too much awkward. For example, that weird tension between her and Spike Spiegel will probably just be her regarding him as some wacky dude. She wouldn't remember fighting him by the duck pond, heh.

ANYWAY, she will be twelve (or "fourteen" in Paradisa time) and may be a bit of a brat because unsupervised child in the castle. :'| Loss will start tomorrow evening! I'm excited whee.
