Despite last night ending on such a sour note, there's quite an enthusiastic crowd gathered at the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore, people jostling to hear Fra Savonarola's SUNDAY SERMON. For all his lack of appreciation for the finer things in life, some might find his points valid. So will you help him cleanse the city of sin and vanities?

On Nov. 10-12, the friar's followers will knock on every door to demand any vanities, whether they be paintings, clothes, jewelry or books. Those who refuse will be looted or even declared a witch, a sodomite, and dragged to the dungeons to await their fate. Walking through the city in anything but rags will become more and more dangerous as the days go by; you never know when those Piagnoni will find you.

Everything is permissible in the name of God.

Everyone's welcome to NPC these followers attacking and arresting your characters or even have your characters become one of them. No sign-ups are required. Those set to die should be captured in the next three days. The IC mingle post for the sermon is up. The party post is still open and there will be no more IC posts until Nov. 13, so feel free to make your own posts and logs and I'm still backtagging with the NPC too!
