Hey guys, it's Babs (Korra/Asuna player) here with character numero tres.
Meet Veralidaine Sarrasri (who goes by Daine) from the realm of Tortall, a few book series by the amazing Tamora Pierce. She has what's called "wild magic" which basically connects her to animals. She can shapeshift, heal them, communicate with them, share their minds, make them smarter, etc. Some of these abilities she uses often, others not so much. Her weapon of choice is a bow, which means, yes, she kicks ass at archery.
Fun facts include: not knowing who her father was until she was 15, finding out he's a god of the hunt, being mentored by the male badger god, temporarily gaining the ability to bring back dead animals and destroying a palace with said ability, pissing off plenty of people, and summoning a kraken. Not necessarily in that order.
Additionally, she'll be bringing the baby dragon under her care. Her name is Skysong "Kitten", and she'll be all up in everyone's business. Fun times. Her loss is memories of time spent with her mother, and her canon point is after the first known female squire adopts a baby griffin in the next set of Tortall books.
