NOVEMBER 21ST - NOVEMBER 25TH

You remember that super fun cave you explored in Lastlook? You remember all those warnings you found there, too? Well…you really shouldn't have gone into that cave. And you really shouldn't have gone anywhere near that relic. Because it housed a rather nasty virus, which was released into the cave the second that happy group of explorers stepped up to its pedestal. The virus has been lying dormant in your character's systems, waiting for the perfect time to strike. That time is now.

But this is no ordinary virus, oh no. This is a virus that manifests itself as the seven deadly sins: Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Sloth, Wrath and Gluttony. Whichever strain of the virus a character gets, depends on whichever sin a character is most guilty of. A greedy person will manifest the Greed strain, a prideful character the Pride strain and so on. Once fully infected, your old buddies will become the very sins they represent, and start to infect YOU. Because they’re really good friends like that and like to share.

This will be a mystery/horror plot that will require some problem solving, treasure hunting and team effort! A couple of days after the virus begins to take hold, residents will find clues on how to tackle it, and they’ll need all the help they can get, as the infected residents gain certain powers as the virus takes over their systems.

This is completely opt in, if you want your character to be unaffected by the plot, that’s fine, they can be immune to the virus, or they can run to an outpost for safety. The infected want those who are within the castle first. They’d worry about stragglers later.

FAQ
My character wasn't on the expedition, can they still be involved in this?
For those who weren't on the expedition and still want to play in this, don’t you worry, because by DAY TWO, your old ‘friends’ will start spreading the infection around. They’ll go through the same process as the others. Just a day later.

My character WAS on the expedition, do they have to get sick?
No. They can either be immune to the virus, or they can evacuate. If you don't want them to get sick, they won't get sick.

My character has super healing powers, can't they just heal this virus?
Nope. There's only a very specific way to cure this virus. Healing, antibiotics, or magical glowing hair will not fix this.

My character shows more than one sinful personality trait, can they have more than one strain of the virus?
Nope. Pick whichever one is strongest in your character and go with that one.

Powers? What sort of powers?
WAIT AND SEE.

Can characters have a lust for life instead of romantic lust?
Certainly! That's fine, it's still lust.

Will a character be willing/able to investigate if they're infected?
After the first day of infection, they won't be interested in being cured at all.

Is the virus a sudden takeover or will the characters still retain their personalities?
Characters will retain their personalities, which will steadily be overtaken by the sin they represent.
