This week has been the opposite of "like a band-aid"... I told you all earlier that I had three drops to make, and ... Five is my third. This was the hardest decision to make out of all of them, but in the end, when I'm honest with myself, I've been struggling with him for a while and hanging on out of sheer love for the character. I apologize to everyone, because he hasn't been as marvellous and Doctor-y as he could've been for a while now ... and it's best to just let him go home, have one more adventure in caves, get poisoned and beat up and meddled with by a guy in a scary mask, and regenerate into a Doctor with far, far worse fashion sense.
It also means a lot of other things, chiefly something I fought with the most: Paradisa is now completely without a Doctor for the first time in ... ever, maybe? IDEK. But. Those who he gave a TARDIS key to will find that they still have them, just in case. Because you never know.
York gets to take care of his parrot, Tardy.
Crowley gets .... his celery. What.
I was going to do farewell letters, but - that's not really the Doctor's style. He just kind of goes. So he will just have kind of ... gone, having spent the last of his IC tenure out in the Dead Zone exploring.
And ... uh ... I'll be double-posting in here later. >_>
