Question about the Masquerade Post:
So, the post has gone past 3k in comments, and I'm pretty sure it's going to keep rising. I'm already having loading lagging with it, and I'm wondering if maybe a second post shouldn't be put up? Maybe with the same people who did the top-tier posts just continuing with a link to the previous post?
I know that posts that exceed 3k can cause issues for the site, as well as potentially break, and I'd hate to see such an active post be inaccessible to people who want to play it.

Plurk is not generally an official channel to get mods' attention. While they will answer if they happen to see it or get directly asked, many people on Plurk have upwards of 50+ people on their timeline... it's very easy for things to get lost, especially if one isn't pinged, and mods are not on Plurk to field everyone's every comment or though. Additionally, not everyone deals with lag. Personally, I haven't noticed the slightest bit of lag on the post, and I frequently skim plurks/don't read comments... if I hadn't seen this post, I wouldn't have known!
For future reference, the most effective way to "get things done" is contact the moderators directly, regardless of what the concern is. Email, AIM, pinging them on plurk, PM, etc. Doing that isn't poking or pestering them, it's making them aware of a concern and asking them to address it. You would not be out of line by doing that. :)
