This is Atma (that chick who plays Combat Instructor Alleyne from Queen's Blade), coming off hiatus early and with a new character.

Meet Captain Marika Kato of the space-pirate ship, the Bentenmaru. She hails fromthe oddly named Bodacious Space Pirates and comes to us post-series. She's a fiery, hotblooded, showy young pirate captain trying desperately to balance her swashbuckling with her studying. In her world, space pirates have Letters of Marque and are used as cruise liner entertainment or people who will take jobs others' won't, but Marika dreams of a day when pirates can be free of such and truly show the stars what they're made of. Basically, the polar opposite of Alleyne, but she is someone I sorely need to balance out how buttdevastated the elf gets.

Her loss is she can't make the family secret recipe, pot au feu/oden, nor will wishing for it or telling someone else how to make it work. This is oden so good the recipe was made a pirate's treasure. She comes with a laser rifle and a saber and not much else.
