Hiatus/Loss
Real life is a bitch sometimes.
So my laptop met with an unfortunate incident the other day and has left me with a shattered screen. I can rig it up to a monitor but it's only available to me in the evenings/nights, putting me at half to a third usual capacity. We're trying to get a more permanent solution ASAP, such as repairs or its own monitor, but that could take a while. On top of that I need to get some other work done anyways, so I'm calling a hiatus for the month of July to get shit sorted. I'll try to backtag or maybe bother you on a meme or two but no guarantees.
For Alleyne, once she finds out the Windrunners have gone home, she will be going into the forest around the castle to grieve. Once she does, she will be turning into a Karasu-Tengu, which are Japanese mythological creatures/people associated with forests and martial arts, with ravens being seen as a figure of wisdom. She will appear as a harpy-like figure, half raven and half elf, and will be dressed in traditional tengu garb, complete with tokin hat. She will retain no memories of the castle/her canon/her CR and believe she has always been a tengu watching over the forests around the castle her whole life. Feel free to spot her or what have you. If things go smoothly in a couple weeks I may do a post with her as one, but as is I'm taking the whole month off to cover my ass.
