Continuing such memorable trips as New York ‘08 and L.A ‘10, Paradisa is giving it’s residents a real slice of life, this time in Paris!

Residents will wake up in Paris, France, in the year 2011, either as humans, or if you wish for your animal/robot/whatever not be human, as an animal or...tamagotchi or something (looking at you Delta). If neither of these options appeal, you may put your character on a loss for the remainder of the plot. But no powers, everyone is on the same level ground here.

Characters will have regular Parisian lives, going to work, going to school, being bums or struggling artists. Maybe some doctors can work in the same hospital, or some kids go to the same school. Feel free to plot away to your heart’s content, planning your characters Parisian lives for the plot. This is a fab time to cultivate yourself some wonderful new CR, after all!

As we’re in a foreign city~ there is an obvious language barrier problem. You can get through this by either Paradisa suddenly making it so your character magically KNOWS FRENCH, or you can have your character not know the language and struggle living in a city where everything might as well be written and spoken in Martian. It’s all up to you!

Also, if you guys have any handy Parisian links, feel free to add them!' We’ll add them to this post as they come in!

Since there's a few of us and I don't think I have everyone on plurk, which is where I'd rather put this but whatever!!

Anyway, so this is more to organize what sort of abilities/appearances human!trolls would have, where each of them are staying/what kind of school are they going to (private or public), any other specifics?

Aradia looks like this! Pale skin black hair red blood.

She is staying in [dwelling place TBD] with Ted Mosby, [TBD], and [TBD], who are her faux family for the duration. She will be attending public school. Since there's no powers, she would... not have any powers. Probably still some kind of affinity with ghosts, but not more than a human could have.

Terezi's going to look like this (http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lpyesxflm11qdkde1.png). Dark brown hair, lightly tanned skin, yeah, yeah, yeah. I haven't decided what ethnicity she'll be yet, but she'll be a French speaker fo'sho'.

Since she'll be human, she won't be able to taste colors or words anymore -- something she'll be upset about for a few days. She won't be completely blind in Para -- she'll just suffer from something called aniridia*: the absence of irises. She'll still have a cane, and she'll be sensitive to sunlight and thus will still wear her red shades B) so she can barely see? Does that make sense?

Oh, and she'll be attending public school! If I think of anything else I want to add, I'll just add 'em later.

I admittedly won't be around for the first four days of the plot because of finals, but I am so excited to tag when I come back from hiatus :)

BUT UM!. Feferi will probably be pale skin and black hair... like Aradia! I believe she would attend private school though she might switch to attend public school eventually because she might find it boring without her friends? This will depend on how many of us go to private vs public school! She'll known French too!! But where she lives will TBA! I haven't decided on ethnicity either yet... I will see!

She'll still be a good swimmer, and she's already pretty upset about her gills but at least that's already done...

Going with Eastern European, so his french is really strict and precise when he does speak with it. Otherwise Equius'll find he drifts into some other strange language (Russian), his accent kind of comes out in his French too, despite his efforts not to let it. Pale, long, straight black hair, I dunno if I want his private school to have uniforms, but I'm considering it.

Probably always covered in scratches and stuff, and his mouth is like 50% fillings and teeth caps.

Attending private school which will make him harder to meet up there, but since I plan on having him wander about libraries and museums a lot he'll be easier to find. Probably be found with some robot construct he's made that follows him around and resembles a human. Because apparently he's still really fucking intelligent here. No strength though, which Equius is going to be conflicted about.

He'll probably also be in the Equestrian club of his school, and boxing.

As for living... I dunno. Do they have like... human parents here?

Here's human Eridan, who really doesn't look much different aside some minor things.

He's got pale skin, black hair with the same stupid looking streak of purple running through it, though it isn't naturally like that. Probably dyed or something.

He's attending public school ~~probably'll hate it~~ and will be fully capable of speaking french. I think I'll probably make him french as well and give him the accent etc etc. Also he won't be pronouncing his ww's or vv's like this for the duration of the plot.

Uh...no idea what he's going to do home-wise. Still hasn't got a place to stay.

I think that's everything.

So see icon, that's basically what Sollux looks like. Korean-ish with photochromic glasses (aka the kind that go from glasses to sunglasses depending on the lighting), and also braces, because I have to give him some kind of mouth problem. He'll be going to public school, and he's not keeping his psionic powers, but rather he still has his intense knowledge of computers. More than a normal 13 year old human should.

Okay it took me forever to get these icons because there's no human Nepeta art anywhere. Or at least art that isn't ugly... :T

Anyway, Nepeta's a short little mexican girl with green eyes and brown hair. She'll be living with random people in the Townhouse and attending public school. Woo! o/
