BE OUR GUEST
DEC 18th-28th

Continuing such memorable trips as New York ‘08 and L.A ‘10, Paradisa is giving it’s residents a real slice of life, this time in Paris!
Residents will wake up in Paris, France, in the year 2011, either as humans, or if you wish for your animal/robot/whatever not be human, as an animal or...tamagotchi or something (looking at you Delta). If neither of these options appeal, you may put your character on a loss for the remainder of the plot. But no powers, everyone is on the same level ground here.
Characters will have regular Parisian lives, going to work, going to school, being bums or struggling artists. Maybe some doctors can work in the same hospital, or some kids go to the same school. Feel free to plot away to your heart’s content, planning your characters Parisian lives for the plot. This is a fab time to cultivate yourself some wonderful new CR, after all!
As we’re in a foreign city~ there is an obvious language barrier problem. You can get through this by either Paradisa suddenly making it so your character magically KNOWS FRENCH, or you can have your character not know the language and struggle living in a city where everything might as well be written and spoken in Martian. It’s all up to you!
Also, if you guys have any handy Parisian links, feel free to add them!' We’ll add them to this post as they come in!
Of course, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Probably a good fit would be:
The Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle (MNHN) which is the National Museum of Natural History and located in Paris.

Also: the MNHN museum would work for me. Thank you for looking that up! (Although alskdfjasldfj I can't believe I didn't go there when I was in Paris. D: )

But how about this? Musée de l’Homme (which is a part of the MNHN)

Obviously we would have to just ignore the part where it's closed currently and being revamped into the Nouveau Musée de l’Homme. And since it's the Paradisa version of Paris, why not? I just liked the description of what's there, something for everyone, yes? Plus it has a cafe, and in another part of the main site it's mentioned there's a library there too, so we can fudge it.
It's probably best to give ourselves some creative leeway anyways. What do you think?

WHY DID I NOT KNOW THIS EXISTED WHEN I WAS IN PARIS? WHY, GUIDEBOOK, WHY?
I am good with this! ....I wonder if I can get my parents to go to this museum in the spring when they go to Paris and get me a guidebook. >>

"And this is Dr. Brennan, examining the remains of someone we think MAY be famous in some fashion but we're still not quite sure. If he WAS famous he'll be put on display. If he's not, well, this may be the one and only chance any of you may get to see him. Mind those chemicals! I can't be sure but they may be toxic."

If you take Eleven out for some wine expect him to spit it out... as much as he'd like to say he likes it.
