For the most part I was referring to the posts where it defaults to "room filter" or "kitchen filter".

I too always try to do a bit of filler for my journal posts, just to assure I'm giving people the proper mood/tone that these stray sentences over a magic journal can convey.

I'm not saying that I don't use the journals and allow action to happen in those posts. In fact, a lot of the time people talk over the journal and then meet up. What I personally am trying to avoid is where I know that I'm asking someone else to participate in essentially a log with me, but I'm letting the journal record it, just so that it's in the comm that most people check.

I'd prefer it if there wasn't such a stigma against the log comm and that people checked that as often as they check the main journal comm.

That's mostly my point and how I had been tailoring my activity these past few months.
